This is just the start of what’s to come for this company. Order placed on 28/12. Countless emails sent chasing up my order. I cancelled my order on 03/02 after receiving multiple delivery windows which were not adhered too. I then asked for a refund. Completely stopped replying. This company is a scam. I have multiple chances for them to make things right by simply giving my refund. They are choosing not to. Do they think they can just take my hard earned money and walk away? 60+ emails in total sent

Ordered an electric inset fire from Esme. It arrived fine and I was happy with it. My issue is the after sale support. The remote stopped working shortly after and since then my experience with the company has been dreadful. I reported the fault to their WhatsApp and they promised to come back to me. After weeks of chasing them and getting no response, they blocked me on WhatsApp. I tried calling but no one ever answers the phone or returns calls. I emailed them - no response. I used their contact form and I received a brief response telling me that the remote (a small infrared remote) would cost me £45 to replace. What a rip off. They also told me to try resyncing the remote - it’s an infrared remote!! It isnt synced to the fire so that advice is absolute nonsense!! I WOULD SUGGEST YOU AVOID THIS COMPANY AND FIND THE PRODUCT SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!

WARNING ‼️ Absolutely do not buy anything from here! They only care about receiving money and don't care about the items you ordered! They gave the wrong delivery date and didn't respond when I asked about a refund! I paid £1200 and now they haven't informed me about the issue with the goods I bought! I will report this to the authorities.

This company delivered the wrong sofa to me in December. We were promised they would send the correct one but this never happened. We are now unable to get any response from them and are left with an item we do not want! Please read all their reviews before ordering anything!

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! This is quite frankly the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. On 17th Feb this year, my mother ordered a table at the cost of £645.00 with an additional delivery and assembly fee of £125.00. Nearly two months on we are still no closer to a refund. The table is completely unfit for purpose rocking from side to side at a mere touch. It also has a hole where there is clearly a missing part, yet they would not accept video evidence and insisted on sending a courier to investigate, who now is suggesting that her brand-new floor is uneven, without even getting a spirit level out during the visit, the other worker in full agreeance that the table is faulty. PLEASE SEE THE VIDEO EVIDENCE OF THE STATE OF THIS TABLE! This company consists of complete con artists and I am currently in the process of making a court claim against them. My mother is 69 years old, suffers from severe arthritis and has not had a table to sit at since the above date, they do not care in the slightest and have caused her the utmost distress. STAY CLEAR.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I placed an order on 23rd July 2025 and cancelled the order same day but up till today 22/10/2025, Esme Furnishings have refused to issue my refund of £734. It’s been from one story to another. Professional liars. Avoid this company at all cost

Would definitely recommend this seller received my marble dining table within 7 days really happy with my order before Esme I went with another furniture company who took my money and never delivered the goods lucky enough I got my money back. Thank you, Esme Furnishing for the great service.

Review Title: A 4-Month Nightmare - STAY AWAY! SCAM ALERT! ⭐ 1 Star - Abysmal, Unprofessional, and Dishonest I am writing this review out of sheer frustration and to warn others. My experience with Esme Furnishings has been an absolute nightmare and the most frustrating customer service ordeal of my life. I ordered a table from them FOUR MONTHS AGO. Not only have I not received the item, but I have been systematically lied to, strung along, and ignored. In these four months, I have contacted their customer service team over TEN TIMES. Each call or email follows the same pathetic script: empty apologies, false promises of "it will ship next week," and blatant lies about investigating the issue. They are not a company; they are professional time-wasters who have no intention of delivering the product or refunding my hard-earned money. They have had my money for a third of a year with nothing to show for it. When I finally had enough and demanded a refund, they refused or simply stopped responding. This is not just poor service; it feels like a deliberate scam. They are kidding me and stealing from me. Do not be fooled by their website. DO NOT TRUST ESME FURNISHINGS WITH YOUR MONEY. They are utterly incompetent at best, and fraudulent at worst. I am now forced to dispute the charge with my bank to try and get my money back. Save yourself the immense stress, anger, and hassle. Shop anywhere else. Advice to Management: You should be ashamed of your business practices. Issue my refund immediately and get your act together before you face a class-action lawsuit for fraud.

Kindly don't place any order from there as I been waiting for my delivery over 8 weeks and no response from them view email and no answer on the phone so I will take legal action against them

Their website says "in stock", 2 weeks after ordering they say the chair isn't in stock even though the website still says so and ask if they should send another chair. - They were basically sitting on my £1100 for 2 weeks - and for the refund the need another 10 days - AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS
