Just wanted to share my experience today at this clinic for the benefit of the management and future patients. Saw the advertisement in the newspaper on Friday and booked an appointment for my wife for 11.30 am today. I received 3 calls from different people to confirm the booking in the last two days and I thought we will be looked at promptly if we arrived for the appointment. This morning, we left home from Maraimalai Nagar at 9.30 and arrived at the clinic at 11.15. We were asked to pay Rs.1100 as consultation fee and we paid it. Waited until 12.15 and asked the person at the reception how long more we have to wait and she said in two minutes my wife will be seen. Waited until 1pm and decided that it was not worth waiting and we left. Then a lady comes running behind us and asks us to come back and we will be seen right away! That was shocking since that made us feel that while we were waiting other walk-in clients were given attention right away. Then travelling back in our car, we received another call asking us to come back and get attended to right away. That made us feel worse for the time we had wasted waiting. The clinic has the option to make this first come first served and no one would have a complaint but booking an appointment and making someone wait indefinitely reflects badly on the front office... even if what is said in the reviews about the medical staff is true. I do understand medical practice is not very time sensitive due to the nature of this vocation but making someone wait for nearly three hours without an explanation is inexcusable. My wife, who was the patient, is a doctor and my daughter is an emergency physcian and I take no pleasure in writing this review about a clinic since I understand that it is a thankless job. However, I have to point out the poor treatment meted out to unsuspecting patients so that the management can make appropriate changes to provide better service. I see that you have responded with a callous message... if you really want to talk to me, you already have my phone number! Or have you lost the registration form that was filled out when we paid you Rs.1100?

This hospital operates purely as a business. We paid ₹4+ lakhs for PRP treatment. Initial attention was good, but once the procedure and payment were done, patient care dropped completely. Dr. Sudheer Dhara met us only once. There was no detailed evaluation or honest explanation of the condition or realistic outcomes. she experienced initial pain relief, which made us believe the treatment was working. Unfortunately, that relief was short-lived and not sustained. Follow-ups are expensive and feel like revenue generation—₹6,000–₹7,000 per visit including medicines—with no meaningful medical guidance. Weekend appointments for old patients are difficult, and senior doctors are no longer involved after treatment. The hospital looks premium and aesthetic, but the focus is on monetization, not patient outcomes. For the amount charged, this level of care is unacceptable. I do not recommend this hospital.

I consulted Dr. Sudheer Dara primarily due to his reputation. However, my experience did not meet expectations. I found the examination and case analysis insufficiently thorough. The consultation session felt rushed, and despite the high fee (Rs. 2000/-), I was not given adequate opportunity to explain my condition or ask questions. Important concerns mentioned in my 3D-CT and MRI reports—such as labral tears, ligamentum teres tear, synovitis, effusion, subluxation, and bone edema—were dismissed without detailed discussion. I was also advised to undergo an ultrasound to reconfirm findings that were already clearly established through MRI and 3D-CT imaging. While I understand that Dr. Dara’s core expertise lies in Neurology, it was disappointing to see no consideration given to the opinions and evaluations provided by experienced orthopedists, especially when these were evidence-based and aligned with the diagnostic reports. Given the extent of structural hip damage visible in my scans, I expected a more integrated, multidisciplinary view. The consultation did not feel patient-centric. There was limited listening, inadequate explanation of his clinical reasoning, and a strong inclination toward a predetermined conclusion, leaving me feeling unheard. Additionally, the hygiene standards in the ultrasound room were concerning. All patients were asked to lie on the same cotton bedsheet and pillow without disposable covers, which is against basic infection-control practices followed in most reputable hospitals and diagnostic centers. The restroom facilities were also poorly maintained. On a positive note, I had a brief interaction with Dr. Vidya Bandaru at Epione and found her approach far more patient-friendly. She listened carefully, took time to think through the case, and responded thoughtfully. Her attitude toward patient engagement was noticeably better. Overall, my consultation experience with Dr. Sudheer Dara was unsatisfactory, and I hope these observations help in improving patient care and clinical communication.

This clinic is one of the most disappointing and unprofessional places I’ve ever come across. The way patients are treated here is unacceptable — there is no empathy, no proper communication, and no sense of responsibility toward those seeking care. Patients are often made to wait unnecessarily, spoken to rudely, and treated as if their concerns don’t matter. Dr. Sudheer Dara, who should be setting an example of leadership and professionalism, instead encourages or participates in this kind of behavior. There is no sense of ethics, compassion, or accountability. The clinic atmosphere is filled with fear rather than motivation No patient or doctor deserves to go through this kind of experience. Healthcare should be about healing, not humiliation. I sincerely hope the concerned authorities or medical boards take note of what’s happening here and take corrective action. Until then, I would strongly advise anyone against visiting or working at this clinic.

Very disappointed with Epione Hospital staff behaviour. I booked an appointment twice for my knee meniscus problem but had to cancel due to emergency. One of their agents called me and spoke very rudely, without respect, and blamed me saying I was booking appointments for time pass. This is totally unprofessional. I have not even visited the hospital yet, but if this is how they talk before treatment, I am worried about patient care. Management should train staff to speak politely with client's.

“I had an excellent experience at Epione Pain Management. The doctors took the time to understand my medical history and explained the treatment plan clearly. The staff and Doctor Priyanka M was supportive throughout the process, and the service was organized and efficient. I noticed significant improvement in my pain levels after the treatment. Overall, truly exceptional service.”

Please read this carefully...I want to share my experience so that people like me who belong to middle class can save their hard earned money and time....My father had taken the full prp and laser regimen completely which costed around 160000.my father was heavily influenced by their marketing tactics and influenced by their publicity and believed that it would truly help him..Most probably your insurance will not cover this... After paying this huge amount it didn't help him.. He strictly followed the medication and had done all the exercises recommended by the physiotherapist.. It didn't make any sort of difference.. I just want to say that if you really suffering with knee pain and if you are knees are damaged severely just go with regular treatment.. This will most probably not help.. One more financial tip is that if you think you may need surgery better take a good health insurance plan which covers knee replacement surgery so that atleast you can take better treatment from a good hospital

I am 37 years old suffering from Neck stiffness and pain in turn causing a severe Dizziness since 3 months. After reading all fake reviews on Google which I later realised 🤦‍♂️ i have to experience it. I have paid the first Consultation fees of 1200 Rs, It's the highest in my life, i have seen thousands of doctors but this is ridiculously high. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Thinking 🤔 again of reviews I read on Google my faith again developed on doctor and decided to pay. When I met the doctor Dhar I showed him my old MRI reports of Neck but he insisted on getting a fresh one and some blood reports. The MRI + Test cost me 10,000 Rs, I went back with my report in which it was mentioned it's a normal report. Doctor after seeing this told me your reports are normal 😂 and most of the times there is no reason for getting Dizziness 😐😶 so in a way he said he know nothing 🫡. He wrote another 800 Rs multivitamins and asked to see another Doctor who charged me another Rs 700 😂😂 another rip off 🥴 and the other doctor told me to do some exercises (which i could have learnt on YouTube 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️) The time i am writing this review i still have Dizziness and spent almost 13000 Rs on a Pain clinic where I got a ZERO RESULT. for those who are reading this please look carefully most of the 5 star reviews are only with 1 review 😆 so be smart and take a concisous decisions. If you have a Money 💰🌴tree at Home then Go for it.

I would highly recommend Epione Pain Management for anyone who is looking for faster non-surgical treatment for severe pain in Knees or any joints. My mom and dad are so pleased with treatment for Knee and shoulder pain. Thanks to Dr Meenal and Dr Sudheer.
