Welcome to Caywood Rodes, a new flight instructor at Epic's Jacksonville, Florida campus!
Originally from Kentucky, Caywood is an aviation enthusiast at heart. From as young as four, he knew he wanted to be a pilot. In high school, he started his flight training in Bartow, Florida and after, attended and graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2024. He then attended Epic flight academy where he received his CFI, CFII, and MEI. Outside of aviation, Caywood is an avid sports fan and soccer player. He loves hanging out with his family and friends. Caywood continues to live his childhood dreams as an Epic flight instructor!
