Our motto is "Safety First!" so we were thrilled when Tallahassee International Airport welcomed our flight students for a tour of the Air Traffic Control tower yesterday. Airport operations personnel gave them a tour of the airport that included airport rescue and the firefighting unit. We even had two Florida State Seminoles students shadowing us, and we are incredibly grateful to TLH for this extraordinary learning opportunity. Understanding airport functions is an important aspect of pilot safety.
