Meet Norbert Garland, an A&P aircraft mechanic instructor at our Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport campus!
Norbert was raised in NW Illinois on a large farm. He joined the US Air Force 1974 as a Crew Chief on the C-5A for 6 years. He obtained his A&P from Sacramento City College in 1983. Norbert started his commercial aviation career in 1984 with Republic Airlines which merged into Northwest Airlines for 21 years. He joined Kalitta Airlines 2006 as a flight mechanic flying for the next 10 years on the B-747 International. In 2016 he joined FEAM as a Midwest Regional Manager until joining Epic in 2025. Norbert's hobbies include landscaping, gardening, golf and fishing.
At our CVG campus, Norbert helps our students develop their skills to become an FAA-certified aircraft mechanic. ✈️🔧🪛
