Aircraft mechanic students at our Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport school are conducting the first of many FOD (foreign object debris) walks they will take during their A&P training. These checks ensure there is no debris in the area that could be sucked into an aircraft, causing damage, mission failure, or even injury or death.
