The 2025 AMC (Aerospace Maintenance Council) competition took place in Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia World Congress Center. Ninety teams attended, consisting of academic and professional organizations. This was the first year that Epic Flight Academy participated, sending a team from its New Smyrna Beach campus.

Our team consisted of five starters and two alternates. During orientation, we found out that our alternates were going to compete with alternates from other organizations, one of those being Centennial College from Toronto and the other Tulsa Tech.

The team members participated in 27 events over the course of two days. Each group/individual was allotted no more than 15 minutes of time to perform tasks that would normally be encountered in the field by professional A&Ps. Events ranged from technology-based trouble-shooting to engine component removal, fuel tank procedures, fire slides, tires, composites, and sealants. There were even virtual competitions, such as the virtual paint booth and multimeter trouble shooting.

Our team performed very well and placed in the top 10 positions in 22 events. These successes resulted in the Epic team placing 6th out of 43 teams in the school event. The participants had fun competing. They never lost a point for an incor
