English Bookstore Maastricht

A really nice bookstore with a lovely back patio and really good coffee! I went to a great meet-the-author event, too. Worth revisiting to see what new and used books have been added.

I came looking for extra books that I can use for my daughter. I found a lot of work books to help with math and English. There is a wide variety of books for different levels of readers, as well as games. There are a lot of books available for English readers, not just a small section typically found in many German or Dutch book stores. The owner is also very kind and a great conversationalist. Enjoy some coffee, reading, or mind stimulating conversations.

I really loved the idea of a surprise bag with 3 books within a certain genre! The online store also has a wide range of titles available and the free pickup the next day is a great deal. Definitely will be buying more here instead of the big webshops.

Today I went to the English Bookstore to look for Christmas-themed books for my son. They have a wonderful selection of books (of all kinds), including good-quality used books as well. I ended up buying more than I intended, because there were so many great options :-) The staff was super warm and friendly too. I look forward to my next visit!

When I first saw the Insta page of English Bookstore Maastricht..it fascinated me a lot. And then I booked an appointment with them which was so quick and flexible. And being there was so great as they have a unique collection of books from all ages. We were so confused which ones to take home as I found a huge pile of books appropriate for my son's age. Gonna book another appointment with them soon.❤

A great little bookshop in Maastricht. Lots of new and used books for children (in English) including official school level and reading level books. There is also a small selection of popular fiction books for adults. A nice clean, tidy shop. Will definitely be buying more books from here.

A welcome voice, a warm atmosphere, a selection of books designed to thrill the youngest and oldest readers, and like any good bookshop, the odd find that makes you wonder how such a specific book ever found its way to the southern part of the Netherlands! A wonderful addition to Maastricht.

The owner was so welcoming and polite, there was a huge range of books for all ages. The prices were amazing and the fact there was a variety of English board games was such a bonus. Will be going at least once a month thats for sure!

Lovely store and very kind staff! I ordered two books through them. It took a while but that was anticipated. One of the books was slightly damaged but not much more than you might expect from regular shipping/moving around.

Amazing service. I purchased books for my daughter during the lockdown and they gave excellent and kind service to me. This is the best place to find English book in this city. The bookstore has become my daughter's most favourite place to visit.
