Encore Patient Transfer

Amazing last-minute service when we needed it most ​I cannot thank Encore Patient Transfer enough for their help this past Wednesday. My mother, who is wheelchair-bound, was taken to Juravinski Hospital by paramedics. Because it was an emergency, her wheelchair was left at home. Once she was stitched up around 11 PM, we were stranded with no way to get her home. ​I called three other companies who told me the earliest they could come was between 7 AM and 11 AM the next morning. When I called Encore, the operator was incredibly helpful and friendly. She understood our situation immediately and secured a pickup for 1 AM, promising to update me if there were any delays. ​The team arrived early at 12:50 AM (Truck EN008). The two gentlemen were outstanding. They were attentive, kind, and professional. I really appreciated that they used my mom's name every time they spoke to her, making her feel comfortable and respected. They explained every step of the process—from moving her from the hospital bed to the stretcher, and finally helping her into bed at home. ​While the cost ($360) is an investment, it was comparable to the other companies I called, and considering the time of night and the level of care, it was worth it. Encore will be my first call if I ever need patient transfer services again.

I had an excellent experience today with Encore Patient Transfer during my trip from Newmarket Hospital to RCC Finch Avenue, and I want to give special thanks to Dilsher, my driver, and Joban, the patient services representative who assisted me. From the moment they arrived, both of them were incredibly professional, kind, and reassuring. They handled everything with care, made sure I was comfortable and safely secured, and communicated clearly throughout the entire transfer. The ride was smooth, the service was punctual, and their friendly, respectful attitude made a stressful day much easier. I truly appreciate the compassion and dedication they showed, and I highly recommend Encore especially Dilsher and Joban to anyone needing safe and supportive patient transportation.
