We’ve had the pleasure of working with Emperor Innovations over the past 10 years on the original construction of our home, building the rental suite, and a small renovation project. We decided to build a house and after interviewing builders, a week later COVID hit! After stalling for a year, we decided to go ahead. Emperor Innovations had been recommended by several people and so we instructed Mike Duggan to build our ICF house. It was a big project, on a bare piece of unprepared land. There were many challenges as a result of COVID, major supply issues, banking issues, some trades trying to gouge, a crazy time to try and build a house! But Mike was a fantastic contractor throughout. When things got really difficult in the middle of the build, he was realistic, but calm and practical, pushing the project forward. We appreciated him letting us get involved with some of the work, pulling together as team, amazingly finishing on time and only 12% over budget. Considering the global challenges, which were totally out of his hands and the size of the house, this was pretty impressive. We had a couple of things that needed ironing out after we moved in and Mike has been excellent at getting these resolved also. He is a man of integrity and that is hard to find these days. Mike is fair, professional, responsive to calls and reliable. He was as good as his word from the moment we instructed him and we have every confidence in his abilities as a contractor. We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone else. Thanks Mike!

After hearing so many renovation horror stories, my wife and I were a little apprehensive about starting out own home renovation. Our fears were put to rest immediately when we met Mike and mapped out the reno, we knew that Emperor was the right fit for our project. During the summer of 2018, we hired Emperor Homes after reading some online reviews and visiting a couple of their ongoing projects. We sent an email and in very short order, Mike and Jordan responded. This to us was a very promising sign as communication between contractors and clients is essential for a successful project, and something important to us. Once we had laid out our vision and plans, Mike provided us with a very detailed contract offer which over a few weeks was adjusted and agreed on. Once the project began, we met a couple of the Emperor employees who we found to be very friendly, prompt and excellent at their job. Both Mike and Jordan were always in contact with us to ensure the dates they were planning to continue work fit in with our schedule. I found the sub trades hired by Mike to be top notch with quality work and products. Our back yard patio/pergola and upper deck project was not Emperor's biggest, but we certainly were made to feel like a valued customer. We truly recommend this company. Ernie & I have had other custom built homes prior to hiring Emperor Homes to build our final dream home on a lot we previously purchased, so aren’t new to the process. After getting estimates & interviewing other builders we decided to sign a contract with Emperor Homes and haven’t regretted it. The detail, communication & general care & attention by all staff including Michael, Jordan & their trades was one of the best we’ve dealt with. They always kept us up to date, answered our questions & treated us with respect which is very important in the whole process. Recommendations by Michael & others to save us any costs or improve the details were also very welcomed & appreciated. We definitely recommend them!

I recently contracted Emperor Homes to tear down my existing porch and rebuild it with an added shed. Due to the shape of my lot, it was not an easy project but Michael worked with me every step of the way to overcome any and all challenges. Not only am I extremely pleased with the quality of the work, but his employees were very skilled and respectful during the entire construction period. They were there when promised and continued working daily until the job was completed. I had a couple of minor concerns during the process but they were dealt with promptly; one the same day and one the following day. One of my major worries when searching for a contractor was finding one who was not only reputable and trustworthy but would complete the project in a timely manner and Emperor Homes definitely met my requirements. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!
