My parents had their first ever hearing test by Jen at Empathy Hearing Clinic. Her space is calm, bright and most welcoming to all ages. Jen provided a safe space to share concerns and she is an attentive listener answering all their questions . She communicated results clearly, professionally and in an engaging manner. They were not rushed in the appointment an Jen made some excellent recommendations for ongoing hearing health. . Our second visit was for the hearing fitting and this visit felt like Jen was family. She is so kind, caring, thoughtful, genuine and patient. We cannot wait for our follow up appointment to add in some Bluetooth features to the hearing aids. I brought my 15yo to Jennifer at Empathy Hearing Clinic for assessment and treatment for Audio Processing differences - this is when your physical hearing is fine, but the way your brain processes sound and meaning is delayed or difficult - especially when competing with background noise. I had no idea there was actually effective treatment available for APD. We are in week 5 and already seeing noticeable improvements. Jen is one of a very few audiologists who specialize in APD diagnosis and treatment in the area and she is not only highly knowledgeable but also warm, engaging, and enthusiastic. She quickly and easily built rapport with my teen who happily attends and puts in the work with her with a smile. They have a lot of laughs, even when the tasks are challenging, which makes it feel safe and rewarding. Jen is a genuinely lovely human who clearly cares for her clients. Her space is bright, clean and beautiful, and her equipment is top of the line. There is parking on site and it’s centrally located near the highway. We highly recommend a visit to Empathy Hearing Clinic for kids, teens and adults with hearing or processing differences in the Burlington area.

What a fantastic clinic. I am someone who has been to many audiologists and ENT in my life and brought my son in for his first hearing assessment and we couldn’t be happier. Jennifer is a lovely and friendly person, her space is calming and welcoming and she explained everything to my teenager thoroughly. I was so happy with the treatment he recieved, I’ll be booking my own hearing test with her shortly. I would highly recommend this clinic.

We had such a great experience at Empathy Hearing Clinic with Dr. Jennifer. My 10-year-old daughter visited post double ear infection and perforation, and Dr. Jennifer was incredibly kind and patient with her. She took the time to explain what was happening in a way my daughter could understand, made the appointment feel safe and not scary, and helped us feel at ease right away. You can tell she genuinely cares. We’re very grateful and would recommend her to any parent.

Most positive experience today with my 2 kids that are 5 and 3 years old. We actually drove 25 minutes to go here instead of going somewhere close, but it was worth the drive. The clinic is so clean and bright and had a welcoming and comfortable vibe. Jennifer, as soon as she stepped out, she had such a friendly energy, the same energy I actually felt from our phone call when booking the appointment. She is very good with kids, making it a fun, not a stressful experience for the young ones. She is a mom of 3, so she is experienced with working with kids. My kids had such fun doing the tests, that my older one even asked me if he could do all his other bloodwork and eye exams in Jennifer's office. She was thorough with her explanations, and made every part of our time there easy. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

I went to Empathy Hearing Clinic and I have to say it’s such a welcoming and optimistic space. It’s not the cold, medical environment I’ve been used to. Jen, the audiologist is very positive and knowledgeable and you can tell she genuinely cares about her clients. She also has kids who are hearing impaired and is hearing impaired herself. I feel this helps her relate to her clients on a deeper level. I went in for wax removal, which was so bad I couldn’t hear out of my left ear. I left with my hearing restored to my normal levels and a big smile on my face. I will definitely be going here for my next hearing aids!

I recently met with Jennifer for an adult hearing test after reading several positive comments about her and her new clinic on Facebook and always being curious about hearing loss. She was very personable, friendly and easy to connect with. Her clinic is easy to find and so cute inside! She takes the time to talk things through with you and never made me feel like she was in a rush to end the appointment. Would definitely recommend to anyone who’s been considering a hearing test!
