The home next to ours was severely damaged, and unfortunately, our house was affected as well. Right after everything settled down, Edward truly became a lifesaver. He immediately brought air purifiers to help improve the air quality in our home. His team also arrived quickly to board up the damaged areas, preventing cold air from coming in and protecting the space from further exposure. Edward even took the time to tape up unsafe areas to avoid any possible injuries and patiently showed us how to properly use the air purifier. My family and I didn’t have to worry about anything — they handled everything for us. The very next day, Edward and his co-worker returned and carefully removed the damaged parts, loading them onto their truck. Shortly after, Edward, Jose, and their crew came back to perform a deep cleaning of our entire house. Once again, our hands were completely off — they took care of everything with professionalism and care. After the cleaning, our home was left in perfect condition. They went above and beyond, wiping down areas we never would have expected and making sure everything was spotless. Overall, the service we received was absolutely amazing. When a serious fire broke out at the house next door, our home was unfortunately impacted as well. During such a stressful situation, Edward and his team were an absolute blessing. As soon as it was safe, Edward arrived promptly with air scrubbers to improve the air quality inside our home. His crew quickly secured the damaged areas by boarding them up, helping block out cold air and preventing further damage. He was also extremely thoughtful, carefully marking off unsafe areas and taking the time to explain how the equipment worked so we felt comfortable using it. The following day, Edward returned with his colleague to remove the damaged materials, handling everything efficiently and with great care. Not long after, Edward, Jose, and the rest of the team came back to complete a thorough deep cleaning of the entire house. We truly didn’t have to lift a finger — everything was handled seamlessly and professionally. They went far beyond basic cleaning, paying attention to details we would never have thought of, and left our home spotless. Overall, the service was outstanding. Edward, Jose, and the entire crew were kind, professional, and incredibly supportive throughout this difficult time. We are extremely thankful for their hard work and highly recommend their services.

We suffered significant smoke contamination, soot deposits throughout the house, particle contaminants in our clothing and furniture. The next day, I happened to speak to Ed, one of Emergency Fire Services site managers, who was working, with his crew on the adjoining house. After a brief but insightful conversation with me, he put me in touch in touch with the company owner, Jordan. Within a day, (6) heavy-duty air scrubbers were running 24/7 throughout each floor of my home. Within two days, an extremely diligent crew of 7-8 workers washed down, sanitized and scrubbed virtually every inch of our home. Floors were cleaned, walls, windows & ceilings were disinfected, virtually every surface in our home was sanitized. Soot and smoke particles were whisked away. The two managers of these work crews, Jessie and Johnny were amazing in their unflagging energy and extreme attention to detail. Two days later, another crew of 6-7 workers repeated the same process on different parts of the house, including the garage. I was amazed at the diligence and non-stop efforts of these extremely motivated individuals. Jordan assigned two site managers to my home, the aforementioned Ed and José, the Lead Project Manager. Both men kept me thoroughly informed every step of the way, for which I was most grateful during this highly stressful period. However, aside from their thoroughly professional demeanor, I was truly taken by the extent to which each man exhibited an extremely high level of humanity and pride in returning our home to a functioning state. I take my hat off to Jordan for hiring, training and retaining such an amazing group of highly motivated and thoroughly professional individuals. While I would not wish the unpleasantness of the last (2) weeks on anyone, I wholeheartedly recommend that you engage the staff of Emergency Fire Services in New Hyde Park should your home or business be damaged by fire, flood or some other calamity.

When my home was affected by my neighbor’s fire, EFS was the first company to show up offering help. They presented themselves as supportive and trustworthy, promising to handle everything — cleanup, restoration, and communication with my insurance company — and assured me that nothing would come out of my pocket. At the beginning, I believed they were there to help. They even told me to allow the fire building department into my house and said, “Don’t worry, we’ll take care of everything.” After that inspection, I was given a long list of violations and fines. EFS told me again not to worry because they would handle it. Later, they completely changed their story and tried to make me pay all the fines and violations out of my own pocket. That was very dishonest and unfair after the promises they made. EFS also never sent me a bill, never reached out to let me know they hadn’t received payment from my insurance company, and gave me no warning of any problem. My insurance claim is still being processed, yet they went ahead and filed a lien on my property without any notice or communication. I decided to fire EFS as my construction company because I did not feel they were trustworthy. They wanted to take control of my entire insurance claim money while doing what looked like the bare minimum work. They were not honest or transparent in how they handled things. It’s extremely disappointing that instead of working things out professionally, they chose to put a lien on my home without notice. Based on my experience, I would strongly warn others: EFS is not trustworthy, they mislead customers, make false promises, and do not communicate honestly.

We had a terrible fire in our home and Jose and his team were excellent in getting the demolition done to prepare for construction. He communicates very well with the utmost professionalism. I am looking forward to working with the team again on reconstruction.
