On the surface this pool looked fine — there was a patch over an old tear, so you’d think it was sealed up. But once we got in the water and tested it, dye was getting sucked right through. The tear had crept past the old patch, and when I started picking at it, the whole thing just popped off. In reality, it had been leaking through a 2-inch hole the whole time. Sometimes leaks hide in plain sight.
