Here’s a good tip for vinyl liner pools — always make sure the metal ladder has rubber caps on the ends. Without them, the bare metal can puncture the liner, and in this case it left a giant semi-circular tear. We were able to track it down quickly and get it patched up, but a simple cap could’ve prevented the damage in the first place.
