Dear Patients,
As some of you may have heard, due to the Covid-19 virus, the American Dental Association recently recommended that dental practices pause elective care during this time of national emergency in order to focus on emergency needs. We are following the ADA’s recommendation and will therefore be contacting everyone who had a routine appointment scheduled over the next 2 weeks to reschedule. We will remain open for any emergencies and will also be available over email, the phone, and through Facetime to answer any questions or consult on any and all dental issues that may arise.
Of course, our primary concern is your health and well-being so we also wanted to take this opportunity to remind you of the importance of excellent oral hygiene during this time. Gum disease can lead to a weakened immune system and we want everyone to keep their body’s natural defenses as strong as possible.
So please, please, please make sure everyone in your household continues to brush their teeth twice a day. And just as important, please floss daily – if this has not been part of your routine to date, there could be no better time to start.
