ELITE MOBILE MECHANIC AND BREAKEDOWN RECOVERY

My 86 year old Nan called these guys for a car battery, came a lot later than they said they would which was meant to be same day, were very vague about the price on the phone and took her bank details to charge her account. It was a battery worth £60 and they ended up charging her £269 for the ordeal. Bare in mind my Nan wasn’t given a receipt for it either and after trying to contact them again, they didn’t answer and went ghost. Please don’t buy from these guys unless you’re totally sure it’s a good deal and doesn’t sound fishy.

Contacted Elite Mobile Mechanics to replace two driveshaft gaiters. They constantly changed dates and times of when they were going to come wasting our time. When the job was completed the gaiter fell off after about a day. Contacted them to come back out and repair and they never replied! I think the reviews on here are fake. Look beyond the first few and you will see a pattern of poor service and incompetency. Avoid if you dont want poor fitting of parts or a potentially dangerous vehicle once these guys have touched it!

Called him out for a diagnostic check. From the moment he arrived, he didn’t seem particularly interested or engaged. He took the car for a very short drive — less than half a mile — and returned saying he thinks it could be the propshaft, despite the car being an xDrive (4-wheel drive), which he seemed to confuse for a rear-wheel drive. He spent a maximum of 10–15 minutes on site, during which he took phone calls and was generally distracted. Charged £50 for the visit. For that price, I would have expected more professionalism, focus, and a genuine effort to diagnose the issue. Unfortunately, I won’t be using his services again.

Rang this guy late on a friday after work explaining i needed brake pads and disks all round with a 1 day turnaround due to driving to wembley on the sunday morning,he arrived when he said he would with the parts and did the job, at a great price,would 100% reccomend him,,thanks again

Had a starting issue on my bmw the guy came out same day re bled my system and changed part for the peddle hats off all fixed and service with a smile Thankyou Mohammed

Amazing service from start to finish! Prompt response regarding a clutch and slave cylinder replacement, arrived on time and absolutely flew through what could be a lengthy job, he ran diagnostic and helped me to determine what steps to take next and even went as far to phoning around to get me a quote, he was friendly, professional and all round was flawless! Will be recommending him to everyone and using him again should I require it. Thanks again!

Called Mo. He came out within an hour. Told me that my rear brakes and brake pads were completely shot. Gave me a very reasonable quote. Went and got the brakes, fitted the brakes and I was able to get on with my work in the house. So much better than taking the car to the garage. Mo was polite and got on with the work and was very reasonably priced. Will definitely be using this business again. Thanks 😊

Complete Joke! ! Avoid ! These guys showed up in an old banger van 1H late. One guy just stared at his phone throughout the ‘attempted fix’. The other chap poked around for a while; to be honest, I don’t think he spoke much English as he couldn’t / didn’t respond to anything I was saying. After a while he said he would be back in 1H with some diagnostic tools. They returned: the one guy was back scrolling on his mobile; the second man did more poking around. It was obvious he didn’t know what was wrong. Eventually the guy said I had a faulty key and would need a new one, re-programmed. Then he demanded £50, which I paid just to get them off my driveway. RAC was called: turned out to be the Starter Motor. Lesson learned! Can’t spell ‘Breakdown’ in their Google listing title either, which should have been a warning to me. My advice: don’t call these guys. They don’t do anything and I wouldn’t be sure any of their positive reviews are genuine!
