Called him out for a diagnostic check. From the moment he arrived, he didn’t seem particularly interested or engaged. He took the car for a very short drive — less than half a mile — and returned saying he thinks it could be the propshaft, despite the car being an xDrive (4-wheel drive), which he seemed to confuse for a rear-wheel drive.
He spent a maximum of 10–15 minutes on site, during which he took phone calls and was generally distracted. Charged £50 for the visit. For that price, I would have expected more professionalism, focus, and a genuine effort to diagnose the issue. Unfortunately, I won’t be using his services again.
