I went to have airbags installed on my ram 2500 truck with a light weight Capri camper. The kit was ordered overnight. There was no time for installation the next day due to the part arriving at 3:15pm. I was charged almost $500 for labor, (2hrs) and $100 for shop materials??? Yes Sumners did ok to accommodate us while traveling but I could never recommend them. Their mechanic was courteous and timely though.

Ive taken my truck and cars here anytime I need something done, and this team has never let me down. Always up front and very personable! From the front desk to the maintenance in the back, Sumner Auto is one of Rapids best repair shops. If you cant and shouldn't do the work yourself, bring it to these guys!!

Out for vacation from MI, we had a trailer / rear suspension problem after a small accident on I-90. They (Austin) got us in, and gave us options to correct rear suspension. In and out the tech was awesome, great communication and even better listening skills and interaction especially with being out of town / state. Great Customer Service good prices.

Over the past two years Sumners Automotive has become my go to shop for a variety of services. Several different types of critical fluids (differential, transmission, coolant) were due for replacement recently in my Dodge Challenger and the great crew at Sumners got them drained and refilled very quickly and efficiently. I also saved about $700 compared to what the local dealership would have charged me for the exact same services.

Driving through the Black Hills when the brakes went out on our vehicle. They made room for us in their busy schedule and helped us with our problem. We were back on the road the next day. Very courteous staff

I went to the shop for some expected maintenance and have an overall check on my 170,000 mile vehicle. I was worried about a couple things and they told me that nothing was in bad shape. The honesty to not replace a part just cause the customer brought it up is great. I won't go anywhere else now.

Very satisfied! We showed up with our old van with a large coolant leakage and they could schedule us in immediately! Top personal service. They definitely went above and beyond and got us back on the road, even this was a very difficult job! Very honest people too! Can absolutely recommend! 👍

We were on a cross country trip and all the sudden my battery died, and my headlights stopped working. After replacing the battery, the headlights still won't working. I called them on a Saturday morning, and they said to bring it right in and they take a look at it. Turned out in jumping my car, I had shorted out the bulbs. They had two of the right bulbs and installed them. Very reasonable, and extremely great people!

We were driving cross-country in our van when a check engine light came on. After calling a few shops who couldn't get us in for a few days, Anthony at Sumners Automotive said he would work us in the schedule the same day. Everything turned out to be okay with the van and they got us on our way in no time. We were traveling with dogs and they said that we could wait inside with them. Very friendly and accommodating workers and business. I highly recommend Sumner Automotive.
