Exercise Corner: Cat–Camel Stretch 🤸♂️
Start on your hands and knees in a comfortable, neutral position. Gently round your back, drawing your abdominal muscles in, as if lifting your spine towards the ceiling. You should feel a mild stretch through your mid to lower back.
Move slowly and comfortably—there’s no need to force the movement or over-arch your back unless your chiropractor has specifically advised otherwise.
From there, gently reverse the movement, allowing your lower back to arch as you look slightly forward. Flow smoothly between these two positions.
This is a good exercise to stretch your back and reduce back pain. It’s easy to do and safe for most.
