Electech were contracted to fit our solar panels from Hale heating. Did an amazing job and since then have not been paid by Hale. This is along with a number of other suppliers and customers, who are all waiting for either payment or paperwork from Hale. Rhys has taken it upon himself to help out as much as possible even when it’s not his responsibility. I can’t thank him enough for this and would definitely recommend Electech in the future.

In October 2025 we decided to buy a solar battery for our home and in the first instance contacted OVO, our electricity supplier for any advice and for the names of reputable qualified contractors in our area as we wanted to continue receiving the existing FIT rates from our solar panels which were installed around 2012. OVO gave us the names of three local contractors and we decided to appoint Electech Electrics Limited of Pyllau Crynion, Cwmann, Lampeter. A representative from Electech Electrics Limited called at our house, took our details and advised us on the best course of action and to install a 10kWH solar battery. Electech Electrics Limited provided the information required by OVO including speaking with OVO, preparing a Schematic of the proposal and started the work at our home in December 2025. The work was undertaken to a high standard and there was hardly any disruption at the property. Surplus packaging around the battery, dust from associated builders work etc. were removed by the contractor. The Contractor also installed SolaXCloud App on my iPhone and showed me how the App works. We also had an iBoost box installed in our Airing Cupboard and Electric Car charger installed. After completion of the work, Electech Electrics Limited called with us to ensure that everything was running smoothly and correctly. I would have no hesitation therefore in recommending Electech Electrics Limited in undertaking this type of work.

ElecTech responded at short notice to our request for assistance to install Starlink and install a mesh Wi-Fi network in the house. They went above and beyond by finding and replacing a corroded double wall socket during the process. The team were punctual, very professional, polite, cheerful and cleaned up as they worked. When we recently did a self-build Barn Conversion we selected Electech to carry out the Electrical work. Brilliant choice. They provided all materials etc (excluding lighting fitments, underfloor heating mats and water heaters) and did all the work as and when required (first, second fix etc). They were very helpful and a good team to work with. A high quality job and good value for money. They are due back shortly to install a solar system to complement the original installation. Definite recommendation.

Used electech in summer/autumn 2024 to install solar panels, battery and iboost. Rhys was very accessible through the whole process, coming out to the house and talking us through recommendations and reasoning, absolutely no sales play from him. His team were neat, respectful, and considerate of nap times with my 7 month old for noisier work. Any hiccups afterwards Rhys has been a phone call away to sort out or sent his team around when the iboost failed (a part issue not an electech issue) Would I recommend?
