Working with Adam Berk at Elder Law of Nashville was truly a gift during one of the hardest chapters of my life. He helped me navigate the final administrative steps of my mother’s estate with so much care, patience, and expertise. Adam worked tirelessly, always made me feel heard, and created a sense of safety at a time when everything felt uncertain. I’m deeply grateful for his guidance and would recommend him wholeheartedly.

Recently we engaged Elder Law in Nashville, Tennessee before the passing of our mom at the age of 94. Mom resided in a nursing home without a will and without the benefit of Medicaid. Adam Berk and Kim Krantz of Elder Law were tremendous in guiding us through the complicated Probate and Medicaid processes. Adam has extensive knowledge of the probate process. We would have been totally lost without his guidance. He carefully and thoughtfully walked us through the entire probate case step by step. As difficulties surfaced, he handled them with a professional thoughtful demeanor. We were always aware of where we were in the process and what the next stages were. He was always responsive to our questions in a timely fashion. The process could have been considerably more difficult without Adam’s expertise. Kim’s knowledge and expertise in navigating the difficult and complicated regulations/requirements for Medicaid approval were successful which saved us money and lowered our stress. Throughout the process, she was very professional and prompt in updating us on our application. Kim also intervened on our behalf with the nursing home facility to ensure they followed current regulations and pricing structures. She was instrumental in the nursing home reimbursing us for advance payments beyond the passing of our mom. She helped make a difficult emotional circumstance tolerable. We are very grateful for Adam and Kim at Elder Law! Not only did they both show great knowledge and expertise in their fields, but they also showed us great respect, kindness, and compassion throughout the process. We are happy to highly recommend Elder Law of Nashville to anyone passing through a similar process with a loved one. Nick L. and Kim S.
