Edwin Tichenor stuck out because he was very educated, easy going, professional and empathetic to my and my dad’s situation. What impressed me most was his focus on family which has always been my motto - family comes first. After 6 months of clearing out, cleaning and preparing my dad’s house for sale, I was “spent”. I really had some circumstances in my life that caused me to need to sell my home quickly. I had talked to a cash for home buyer because they are known for quick sales, but after reading over the contract with a friend I felt really uncomfortable signing the contract because there was beaucoup amounts of shady in it. So, since I worked with Edwin in 2015 to buy my house I thought to reach out to him to see what my options were. I was forlorn that going the traditional route would cause me to have to adapt to a new time frame in leaving to move across state. Thankfully, that was not the case, and in following his guidance and insight I was able to close in the same time frame as a cash for home sale and meet my original time frame. I was also concerned that the cash for home buyers would neglect needed repairs and cover them up instead of fixing them. I'm happy that going this route and working with Edwin and his team, that the buyer is aware of everything and is able to give my first home the tlc it deserves.
