Penetrating Brain Injuries:
A penetrating brain injury is a serious type of head trauma, which may be caused by any external force or object that's strong enough to break through the skull. A common cause for this kind of traumatic accident is bullets and shrapnel from explosions targeting military personnel in war zones. When something penetrates your skull - whether it’s an object like food or hair, skin fragments from scraping against bone during activities such as shaving with a razor blade, bits of shattered ceramic pottery glancing off someone else’s head at high speed when they were hit by debris from nearby building explosion on the ground floor- you have received what doctors call "a penetrating brain injury." A piercing blow to your cranium can do severe damage
Anoxic Brain Injuries:
Anoxic Brain Injury occurs when your brain does not receive enough oxygen for proper functioning. Too little time with too low amounts of O2 means death through cell damage which renders many people living below their full potential as well as causing some disfigurement such as paralysis on one side of the body.
