I am REALLY disappointed in our window experience and would not recommend them for large/whole house projects. The customer service, the companies internal communication, and my project manager, the timeline to get it finished - it was terrible.
We paid over 40,000 dollars for our windows and doors to be replaced, it was a big job. When the windows were ordered and installation days came, they had ordered and installed the incorrect window in one room.
Of course we had paid by that point, and that’s where the problems started. It took reaching out to the project manager multiple times for a response, but then the correct window was finally ordered.
Multiple other windows were left unfinished both in and outside, but none of this seemed to communicated by the work crew to the company and it would be four months to get it finished.
I repeatedly had to send follow-up emails to get responses from my project manager. She confirmed the window had been ordered and that the finishing work would be done when our correct window was installed and that she sent in a work order.
Three months later, our new window was installed. They didn’t have all the materials needed to finish it on the first day as the wall under the window needed to be built up, and they left the area under the window open to the outside despite it raining that night, so we had to seal it ourselves.
Once the window was installed, none of the trim was finished and we still had bags of supplies in our garage. The crew said they knew nothing, it wasn’t in their work order.
The interior caulking on many of our windows was also cracking and one of the gentlemen on the crew said they used the wrong stuff and it would all need to be replaced.
I sent an email to the project manager, followed up ten days later politely saying that we had been very patient so far but were feeling forced to write a negative review, and then finally got a response from customer service instead of her.
They had no idea what was and wasn’t finished, what needed to be done. No one ever communicated it, I had to document it all and send photos. Finally, they booked a day and the work was completed last week.
We were not given compensation for any of this - for our windows and doors being unfinished internally/externally for 4 months, for the wrong window being installed.
If I didn’t repeatedly keep contacting them, the work would never have been completed because no one was communicating internally what needed to be done.
This was an honest to god nightmare. The windows seem to be good quality, I’m crossing my fingers they were installed properly, but I’m dreading if we ever need to use our warranty.
I’m attaching photos of how our house was left for four months with us repeatedly asking it to be completed, and the crackled caulking.
