Tariq was amazing for us. After calling several companies Eco was the only one that could come out same-day. He was able to diagnose our problem and give it a temporary repair until we could order the part needed and was out soon after to do the replacement. Because of this we didn’t lose any of our food and we even brought some other issues to his attention which he was able to help us with. I would recommend Tariq to anyone. He was even really good with our dog Sage!

The technician was very friendly and was able to get my refrigerator repair done in a reasonable time. The only delay was waiting for an OEM part to ship, and the technician did an excellent job at explaining this to me and assisting me with how to get by without a working refrigerator for a few days. I would definitely recommend these guys.

We had a great experience with Eco this morning. Tariq did a wonderful job explaining everything. He arrived on time, called when he was on his way and repaired our fridge promptly. I will definitely be using Eco again!

I surly hope our fridge does not die again, but if it does Tariq will be the first one I'll call. Our LG fridge decided to honor us with a CF E error code. This could have not possibly happen at a worse time as my wife had to be rushed to hospital the same day. I called ECO the next day, and Tariq was able to come over the same day, diagnosed the problem, was more than willing to waste his time speaking with our home warranty company, and was able to get a temporary fix going while the needed parts were ordered. In less than a week the parts arrived and Tariq came over and got our fridge working again. All that for a price that I thought was more than fair.

BEWARE!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCAMMED OUT OF MONEY!! I chose this “company” (which my impression now is that this company is not a “we,” but rather just one individual) because of the good reviews, but it turned into a total disaster! I was happy originally that someone was able to come out right away and look at our refrigerator and diagnose the problem quickly- because I was hoping to save my food. My first red flag was when I went to pay the diagnostic fee and I was told by Tariq that he couldn’t accept a credit card payment. When I questioned why he gave me a poor excuse- which I now surmise from reading his poor reviews is because he had issues with other customers filing claims against him with their credit card companies. Once we decided that we were going to move forward with a repair, the plan was that Tariq would return the next day. When the following day came he cancelled on me and ignored my text. When I messaged again the next morning, he said he’d come that afternoon, which he did. He supposedly repaired my refrigerator and I paid him. Another red flag in payment- he mentioned that he hadn’t yet been able to cash my original check at my bank because his name wasn’t on it. Why would a company not have their own bank where they could cash my check?! I found that suspicious! Then he tried to talk me into paying him with Zelle. If I did have Zelle, which I don’t, I wouldn’t choose to pay a company with Zelle under any circumstances, let alone pay this guy with Zelle. Again, very suspicious! I paid with another check. I will also mention that the repair took him about an hour and I was charged over $300 for labor (which of course I didn’t know how long the repair would take when I agreed to his price)! When that night came and my fridge/freezer was no colder than it had been prior to the repair, I contacted Tariq with no reply. Thankfully I had enough smarts to immediately call my bank and cancel the second check I wrote him (which was a sizable amount)!! The next day I tried to contact Tariq again. He eventually wrote back and said “keep it running” and that he’d be back that afternoon. (Odd comment. I’m thinking- it’s not running, that’s the problem and why I needed a repair!). That afternoon came and we got an excuse that he wouldn’t be able to make it. When I expressed frustration, he had the audacity to say he was “ahead of time” because these repairs “usually take 7-14 days from the day you accepted your estimate.” I was never told 7-14 days! I was told he would repair my fridge the next day- so I’m not sure why he chose this irrelevant and false information. The real issue was at that point that he was realizing that I had placed a hold on the check. His last communication was that he would have me on his schedule the next afternoon (3 days past the original plan, by that point- which by that time meant I lost the food I was trying to save!!). Of course, he never showed up, as anticipated. And I wouldn’t even want him back in my house at that point because he proved he was not trustworthy. And here’s the last thought I have. If he is a small businessman who bought the $400+ part to repair my fridge, wouldn’t you think he’d be concerned about recovering his money? Or is it perhaps that he never spent money on my repair part which is why he wasn’t concerned about making it right!!? I would think he’d be a little more concerned about his company’s reputation as well. He is a scammer and I hope if you are reading this review it protects you from making the same mistake I made!! I wasted over $100 because of this guy and am just thankful I didn’t lose more!! I noticed once I had issues and began digging deeper into his low reviews that I am not the first person to have these issues with him. Apparently it is a pattern. I have no idea how he is still in business!

i cleaned my frig yesterday, then it was not functioning quite properly. I called about 9 companies after hours with no response. I called Eco Refrigeration and actually spoke to a live person who had a tech come out and fix the problem within an hour! I was so grateful as it was less than 60 hours before Thanksgiving. The tech was very nice and thorough. I would gladly use this company again.

Company was supposed to show up for a repair and did not show up. Was confronted them about it and was told appointment was wrong. Husband missed work due to this. Tarique told me he could not install the part. I asked him why he said he my husband was yelling at him for not showing up so they are not going to do the job because he felt threatened. He said I would get my money back less service call fee. This was June. He said if I dispute it I get nothing that is how they work. To date no refund $400. My cc company is now fighting this. Do Not Do Business with this company!!!

I had an issue with my fridge not cooling, and Tariq came to the rescue. He diagnosed and repaired the problem in no time! He was professional, efficient, and clearly knew what he was doing. I really appreciated his prompt service and honest approach. Highly recommend Tariq For any refrigeration issue

Tariq was a great choice for our refrigerator repair. He showed up when he said he would, accurately diagnosed the problem, and fixed it right the first time. The communication was great as well-he kept me informed from the time I first called until he left after completing the repair.

Absolutely horrible service. Did not return after initial diagnosis. After repeated calls and text finally had to submit dispute claim to credit card and all of a sudden he quickly responds. Offered to pay him full amount in cash after work complete. Stated he would come on jul 18th and never showed. Now has the guts to ask for a diagnosis fee knowing all along he would never do the work. Would not recommend and very shady company.
