Eagle Transmission-Repair

I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe with 191k+ miles. I assumed that doing a transmission fluid flush and replace may be a good idea. Tim recommended to not replace the fluid on an older car that was operating correctly. I took his advice and did a fluid check at my house. The level was perfect and the fliud was clean. If you are looking for an smart and honest opinion for your auto transmission, then this is the shop to contact!!

Our car (Lexus, 19 yo, 180,000 miles) started having transmission issues, so we took it to the dealer. The dealer analyzed the OBD results and found 2 codes related to the transmission and suggested we replace the transmission. We took the car to Eagle Transmission to get a second opinion, hoping there might be a solution that would be economically viable for an older car with a lot of miles. Tim ran diagnostics on the transmission and also concluded that the old transmission could not be repaired. Tim explained the diagnosis in terms we could understand and discussed the economic decision making regarding the cost of a replacement transmission for an older, high mileage car. We elected not to replace the transmission, but were very grateful for Tim's help, and we will take our other vehicles to Eagle Transmission for transmission fluid and filter changes in the future.

I believe I spoke with Tim, who seems like an honest and knowledgeable guy. I took my truck to Eagle Transmission for a second opinion, and they not only knew what the problem was, they knew what had already been going on that I thought I had fixed. I expected for them to have it a few days, but they were done in less than two. My truck is back in action and driving well. I can’t say enough positive about these folks, and I will definitely trust my vehicles with them going forward.

Tim and his team are professionals and did an excellent job for me. At first I was hesitant for the cost and weary of taking it to a shop out of town, I am from Houston, but they got me fixed up in 2 days!!

I had a small issue with my transmission cable, for which I was banging my head on for about 1.5 hrs .. I stopped by the shop and within 5 mins, they had it fixed!! Everyone was profressional and quick to assist .. Excellent experience and I would highly recommend, as well will use them should I need help / service in the future! Keep up the great work team!

$5k will be the minimum they want you to spend here. Then they act like they’re doing you a favor by making it $4.998 They won't want to actually "fix" your transmission issue. You could have a solenoid go out and theyll say "we recommend a new one or a rebuild" Also, don’t give them your number or they’ll spam

Friend overheated his transmission and they were quick honest and fair priced. Wasn't anything bad so got out for under $500. Will definitely use them for my specific transmission needs

My husband found this place on Yelp. We live out by the Bee Caves area, and our regular car shop told us we needed a new transmission. The car is old, and we doubt installing a new transmission would be worth installing. However, with car prices, what they are now, and the fact that my 90-year-old father can get in and out of this car more easily than anything else we own, we thought we would get another quote. Tim called my husband and said I do not think what you are feeling is a transmission issue, but a power issue. You need some new spark plugs or at least start there. WOW. I honestly was in shock. What an honest man. He could have given us a quote vs telling us I think you need a $50 fix. I was blown away. It is a rare thing to have such an honest shop. They didn't charge us a thing. We were able to drop off and pick up the car outside normal business hours as they had a drop off box. Then they just put the key in the car and we have a code on the door to open the car. I HIGHLY recommend this shop. I have nothing but positive things to say. THANK YOU! We hope we can keep the car running until my father dies.

I had my car towed here to get a free diagnosis and estimate and Tim was very helpful and nice every time I spoke to him on the phone!
