In a collaboration between Liverpool and Ukrainian artists made possible by MerseyMade, a huge mural has been erected in Liverpool that celebrates more than 60 local musicians, both past and present.
The artwork has been installed on the SP Energy Networks substation on Paradise Street, Liverpool, and the timing could not have been more perfect with the backdrop of the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest taking place in the city.
EA Technology have worked closely with SP Energy Networks with the installation of an additional 50 VisNet Hubs throughout the city to help monitor and power Eurovision.
Commenting on the installation, Dave A Roberts Managing Director of VisNet at EA Technology said: “We’re thrilled to have been able to support the city of Liverpool with LV monitoring during the Eurovision event. The monitoring will help to prevent power outages while also collecting crucial data that will help experts to understand how energy is distributed throughout the city’s network.”
