As one of the many hundreds, if not thousands of people with a leaking Range Rover Evoque, I was very pleased to come across E.T.S. Emergency Windscreens - on the 2nd page of Google results (somewhere I rarely have to go :-) ).
The guys - Kevin and Luke - get top marks for not only clearly knowing their stuff, but also for their professionalism. I was kept up to date with the anticipated arrival time, the progress of the work and other aspects of the job.
Kevin even found time to tell me about the growth of this family business as well as his history in the trade, including lorry windscreen replacements and also having full knowledge of the issues with the Land Rover Marque.
I will be posting this company up on the Land Rover forums as the go-to place for windscreen work.
My insurance company wouldn't cover the car for this work - despite the insurance being fully comprehensive and having windscreen cover. Why? - because they have an agreement with Autoglass for windscreen work - and Autoglass don't do this type of repair.
The 2nd Google search result was for National windscreens - they don't do this type of work either.
So, the work/job/issues/remedies were fully explained to me, pre- and post completion.
The work is also fully guaranteed.
I thought having the word 'Emergency' in the company title would have connotations of expense - due to previous experiences of Locksmiths. Nothing could be further from the truth, as I found the price to be very reasonable.
I'm a very happy customer :-)
