E.ON Drive Charging Station

Very easy to locate and the great feature is that there is no time restriction of charging your electric vehicle. Just check if the card reader is working as a couple of the readers weren't working and I had to speak to the staff over the phone who were very helpful, when the charger wasn't stopping or releasing from my car. Otherwise very good and straight forward to use.

Eon have placed 4 300Kw max car chargers, but they are not in the retail park, they are across a wall, opposite Tapit Carpets in a new area where the gasometers were. You need to turn off into Starbucks drive and continue past Starbucks to end of the road. No pre-registration or app required to use them, plus no parking fees!

Living in Clacton this is my go to charging station. Always chargers available with 300kw capacity. Free parking and easy access to wsterglade retail park with Starbucks a few hundred feet away if you want a coffee while you wait. They are situated on the new retail area of waterglade so use Starbucks entrance to access as cannot be accessed from waterglade retail park. I have knocked a star off as whilst Iceland ; B&M are in spitting distance you cannot access them from the chargers. I am not sure why they didn't install a small connecting path which would surely increase trade to the local shops.

Clean and tidy, chargers are well maintained, as with all public charging costs or a bit steep, accepting electroverse

The score still to high changed all chargers now only CCs plugs so can't charge my Nissan Leaf gen 2 which uses the CHAdeMO what a load of wasters
