I've made a couple of different purchases here over the years. This year my daughter is graduating college and she wanted an "end portal, " cap from Minecraft so of course I reached out to Dtown Vinyl. I took the cap to them a month before the graduation. I sent in pictures of what I wanted and I'm almost positive a YouTube how to video. I was told I would revive an invoice via email. After 2 weeks I called them because I had not received the invoice. I was told I would receive it shortly. I received the invoice a week later and paid it. Two weeks later I call them because we have to travel for the graduation. The lady I spoke to had no ideal of why I was calling and said she needed to talk to the owner and would call me back I informed her I was leaving the next day for the graduation and needed to get my cap. No one called me back that day, the next day I receive an email around 2pm stating my items were ready for pickup. So, I rush to pickup the cap and it was horrible. Nothing like the picture at all. I was embarrassed giving it to my daughter as she was upset. This is college a huge accomplishment and I really wish they would've just said we can't do it. Or even sent me pictures of their progress. Anything before letting me pay for something that doesn't look anything like what I asked for. I honestly love this place up until this moment. I don't think I will ever be back. I'm so embarrassed.. The picture with the arm in it is what I wanted. The one that looks like a swimming pool is what I got Update: while I totally understand that I could've asked for corrections to be made, one we were traveling out of state for the graduation which was made known a month in advance waiting for corrections would have been a waste of time as it can be clearly seen in the photos the hats look nothing alike. We considered going to Michael's to fix it ourselves but it was best to just buy another cap. Just being honest maybe I should've been sent photos of the progress as the cap was being done. Because this is definitely giving 1970's bathroom sink. So, I'm taking accountability for not saying something before leaving the store, but what was there to say besides " this looks nothing like what I ordered. "

We had such an amazing time at the Caps & Cocktails event at Dtown Vinyl! They were so gracious on multiple levels - with the available supplies, the abundance of wine and adult tea, and the tremendous patience extended as we sought help time and time again. If was truly such a great experience from start to finish!

From iron-on(HTV) to permanent. Any color you can think of! From regular, glitter,flock,puff,stretch…etc. They offer weeded projects and full color transfer sheets. They also carry T-shirt’s😊 Youth styles to Adult sizes. I love this place. Attached are pictures of projects that I completed. All materials used were purchased from Dtown Vinyl. Dtown Vinyl is the ONLY black owned business of its kind in the ENTIRE state of Michigan!! The merch is top tier, the crafting events are amazing and the Staff is nothing but creative chocolate fairies bringing ideas to life!!
