My father was a general contractor and his father was a HVAC and plumbing contractor. I learned early on how to be handy and developed various skills in my youth working with my father at an early age. Prior to marriage I worked as a journeyman cabinet maker and later put these skills to use in the homes I bought and remodeled.
I spent many years as a real estate broker, owner and investor in California buying, selling and fixing properties. In recent years we moved to Utah to be closer to our daughters and their families. I've always enjoyed buying and fixing homes and especially the gratification of turning a rundown home into a nicely remodeled home. Upon moving to Utah, I decided to get my general contractors license and start Handy Home Pros.
