This is some of the best equipment and most well known shapers in the industry. Russell is a super nice guy and really knows what you are looking for from long board to short. Jasmine is amazing and helpful if you are looking for something in particular she know where it is... Screws, leashes, bags, hats, boards, soft racks, super nice rentals, repairs, fins, wax... Ect. This is a real surf shop owned by a real true surfer. If you are looking for surf school this place has some of the best surfers on the island teaching you the way of the "stoke". I am super impressed. Five stars all the way!!!

Spent my whole trip in Barbados surfing with the school/shop and they were so much fun! They were very accommodating to me as well when I wanted to rent the board early in the morning before their shop opens by paying them the day before and keeping it overnight. My dad and I took lessons with them also and they were very supportive. They were also very supportive of me even when I simply rented and went with them to the surf spots. Our boys had a wonderful time with instructor Nick. They were out there for 2 hours straight and definitely tired them out at the end. Jasmine is very welcoming and hope to come back next year.

What a place!!! The owner of the shop was super nice and kind. Great choice and quality, not only clothes . I did not know about the surf school lesson, but next time for sure. Thank you very much for making my day nice and kind. Simply enjoy my new clothes, and definitely recommend visiting.

I am so happy that I was able to book a morning surfing class session on my last day in Barbados. Axe the instructor was a great teacher and real pro. Catching a few waves in the beautiful warm water was such a thrill. Highly recommend!!

The best surfing instruction I've ever had! I spent 3 fantastic days honing my skills with my instructor Axe whose positive attitude and helpful tips gave me the skills and confidence I needed to up my level of surfing. I also can't say enough about how helpful and fun the staff were at the shop as well. If you're looking to learn how to surf or get to that next level of surfing in Barbados, Dread or Dead is the place to do that! Thanks again Axe, I had a blast.

We had 5 of us that took surf lessons and all 5 were all standing up and surfing after one lesson. Axe and the other instructors were amazing they made it so fun and easy for my kids to learn. Thank you so much. The woman in the shop was so sweet and such a doll and so helpful . This is the shop I recommend for sure!!!

Would definitely recommend taking a surfing lesson with the dread or dead team! I recently booked a surf class for a large group of friends. Nearly everyone in our group had no experience, but the instructors were great with giving us advice and everyone in our group was able to catch some waves! Super friendly team, the instructors were so knowledgeable, and we all ultimately had a lot of fun. Would definitely book sessions with them every time I travel to the rock 🙌

Amazing people and atmosphere, bought a lot of gear and clothing at the shop (amazing!) and took surfing lessons 3 days in a row with Nick. Nick is hands down the best surfing teacher ever! I have always been hesitant about surfing places I'm not familiar with. On my trip to Barbados I came across a surf shop through some people who knew the owner and said they would take good care of me. After spending time with Russell and Ax, I felt very good about going out. What happened next was something that is hard for me to explain. Not only did they put me on some extremely fun waves, they treated me like family. They were SO very kind to my wife and made us feel extremely welcome. I had so much fun that I have already booked my trip to come back. I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to get the full surfing and good people feel while in Barbados.
