Dr. Uma Mishra is a truly wonderful doctor, and I find it difficult to put into words how much I admire and appreciate her. One thing that stands out in Dr. Uma is her integrity and strong sense of ethics. In a context where many doctors in India play on the fears of pregnant women and lean toward recommending C-sections, Dr. Uma firmly follows international standards, where a C-section is performed only when medically necessary and not as a routine practice. This was one of the main reasons I chose her as my doctor was because I was very clear that I wanted a natural birth unless an emergency arose, and finding a doctor who genuinely supports that choice in today’s environment is quite rare. Throughout my pregnancy, she gently guided me in the right direction. During this phase, it’s common for everyone around you to encourage you to eat just about anything (including junk/packaged food) without much thought to balance or moderation. Dr. Uma, however, always encouraged me to focus on healthy, home-cooked meals and regular exercise to support a smoother delivery—and it truly made a difference. She was always available whenever I had questions or concerns, and it is largely because of her thoughtful guidance that I was able to have a healthy pregnancy and a relatively smooth natural birth. What also makes her so special is her calm, steady and reassuring presence. There were moments when I felt anxious, but seeing her composed and steady immediately brought me comfort. Her expertise, combined with her warmth and compassion, truly makes her an exceptional doctor. If you follow her advice, you will also find that recovery after delivery feels much easier. I feel very grateful to have had her by my side through such an important journey.

Dr. Uma Mishra is hands down the best gynaecologist you'll find. She provided me with constant guidance, compassion, & positivity throughout my journey which started even before I conceived. I have been in regular touch with her for around 2 years now. She has always shown constant care & provides reassuring details that gave us immense comfort during the whole period and mostly on the night of my delivery. I was determined for a normal delivery and told her the same. She guided me in all possible ways. Ma'am suggested exercises, dietary and other restrictions during my pregnancy, basically all the do's and don'ts, which I followed. It has been a month since my delivery. Till now, she patiently answers all my queries, even the silliest ones. It was because of her calmness and support, I got the courage to go through the whole process and didn't deviate from my decision of normal delivery till the very end. There were some difficult times during my labour but the expertise ma'am holds and the comfort she provides with all the proper details makes you trust every decision of hers. We did the same and I have a healthy beautiful daughter. Apart from this, From day one of my pregnancy, the constant monitoring, gentle care, and reassuring updates gave us immense comfort, even during some anxious times. It was all possible because of her expertise and compassion. I had an absolutely wonderful experience with her during the whole period of my pregnancy and delivery. I think during pregnancy, one needs a doctor who not only helps you to be physically healthy but also looks out for your emotional and mental health, and ma'am did the same for the whole 9 months.
