Dr. Rao’s practice exudes a calming atmosphere, and she is the first doctor to genuinely listen to my endometriosis pain. The administrative team was responsive, and my surgery went smoothly, leading to a quick recovery. Three weeks post-surgery, I feel revitalized. Dr Rao has been incredible from the very first appointment. After being dismissed by other doctors and told my symptoms were “normal,” she made me feel heard and reassured that what I was experiencing was real. She supported me through every step, explaining everything clearly and making sure I understood my options. My goal was to pursue surgery to finally get answers about endometriosis, and she immediately organised a surgical date without hesitation. Throughout the entire process, especially the nerve-wracking moments, Dr Rao was compassionate, calming, and genuinely caring. She even held my hand before surgery and told me everything would be okay. Her communication before, during, and after the operation was exceptional. I felt supported, understood, and truly cared for. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Dr Rao has been absolutely wonderful. From my first consultation I felt her warmth, genuine care & support. It’s taken quite a few years getting a diagnosis for adenomyosis. Dr Rao made me feel seen & didn’t dismiss my symptoms & feelings. She is extremely knowledgeable & patient, answering all of my questions via email at all hours of the day & night regarding my robotic hysterectomy. Even post operation I have still needed to contact her & she always responds quickly & with kindness. Dr Rao & her team on the day of my surgery were all fantastic making me feel totally comfortable & supported. I would definitely recommend Dr Rao, she is truly an amazing doctor who wants to help women.

I was highly fortunate to have been under the care of Dr Rao and her wonderful team. I came to see Dr Rao after seeing two obgyns who were inexperienced, unable to explain and answer my questions accurately, or were dismissive and lack good bedside manners. One even caused me pain. I was traumatised from being told it was my fault that I couldn’t feel comfortable being examined. They made me feel even more confused and shamed. From the first meeting with Dr Rao I knew she was the right person I trust with my health. Her knowledge, warmth and genuine care instantly put me at ease. Dr Rao would answer all of my emails thoroughly and thoughtfully, never once dismissing my concerns or shame me for feeling anxious. My question were addressed with care and consideration. My surgery went smoothly, I recovered as well as expected. I emailed her as I was recovering and she answered promptly. 4 weeks post op appointment went well, again she answered all my questions, didn’t rush me and explained my pathology report thoroughly.I don’t think I have ever met a better doctor. Dr Rao is an amazing doctor and wonderful person. Her professionalism, medical skill and patient care are exceptional. Dr Rao's warmth and ability to instil confidence in the significant medical procedure I unexpectedly underwent was greatly appreciated as was her being with you every step of the way (prior, during and following the procedure). She communicates with clarity, ensures that you fully understand what lies ahead and is very happy to answer all questions. Dr Rao is well supported by her admin staff and medical colleagues. In admin particularly, Sara is highly proficient and a pleasure to interact with. Dr Rao’s surgical teams are also fantastic. In particular, the skill, good humour and professionalism of anaesthetist Dr Daniel Fletcher was appreciated reducing pre surgery nerves significantly. Finally, thank you to the lovely anaesthetic nurse who took time to converse with me pre surgery – these little moments make a big difference to a patient. Thank you sincerely Dr Rao for going above and beyond and I will take any opportunity that arises to recommend your service to my friends and family.

Dr Rao is a caring, patient-focused, and knowledgeable gynaecologist.
