A Naturopathic Doctor (ND) is a Healthcare Practitioner who has completed a Doctorate Degree in Naturopathic Medicine from an accredited institution. ND programs last four years and are offered only at accredited Naturopathic Medical Schools. All Naturopathic Doctors in North America must pass a rigorous licensing examination, the Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Examination (NPLEX), to become licensed to practice.
