Young Patient Successfully Treated for Trauma in Upper Central Incisor by Dr. Lillys Dentistry
At Dr. Lilly Dental office, we recently treated a 7-year-old girl who experienced a dental trauma while skating. During her fall, one of her upper central incisors was partially dislodged, causing a noticeable bulge and concern for both her dental function and smile.
The patient and her parents visited our clinic immediately after the accident. Dr. Lilly singh performed a thorough examination of the affected tooth and surrounding structures. The goal was to preserve the natural tooth, prevent long-term complications, and restore proper alignment.
Treatment Procedure
• The dislodged upper central incisor was carefully repositioned into the socket.
• To stabilize the tooth and allow proper healing, it was splinted to adjacent teeth for two weeks.
• During the splinting period, Dr. Lilly monitored the tooth to ensure it remained stable and integrated well with the surrounding teeth and gums.
After two weeks, the tooth had healed successfully in its correct position, and the splint was removed. The patient was thrilled with her restored smile, and her parents were relieved to see a fully functional, healthy tooth.
