Heel Pain
Resting and avoiding running, standing for a long time and walking on hard surfaces may help to relieve heel pain. Applying ice for up to 20 minutes, 3 times a day and using heel cups or wedges in shoes may also help.

Have severe pain and swelling
Develop pain after an injury
Can't flex or bend your foot downward
Can't walk comfortably
Develop a fever along with heel numbness or tingling
Make an appointment to see a doctor if you
Feel heel pain while at rest
Have pain that persists or worsens over a few weeks or more despite self-treatment
Struggle to work or do daily task.
