WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU STOP EATING SUGAR FOR 14 DAYS?
So the question is what happens to your body when you stop eating sugar for 14 days? Firstly, you will lose your appetite for sugar. Why? This is because every time you consume sugar, a hormone comes in and reduces your blood sugar causing a low blood sugar situation also called hypoglycaemia. This will result in a craving for sugar and by stopping sugar you will also get rid of the cravings for sugar. Number two is that you will be less hungry. Until you try this yourself, you will never notice that it’s actually the sugar that keeps you hungry all the time. So when you give up sugar, you will be less hungry because your body will stabilize blood sugar. Thus, when you give up sugar as your body considers it toxic, and then you can also reverse insulin resistance. This is because the cells of your body block sugar as it considers it toxic and thus become insulin resistant. So by getting rid of the sugar you can actually reverse insulin resistance and your body can absorb nutrients and proper amounts of fuel much better. Thirdly, you’re going to have less fatigue especially after eating a meal. When you consume sugar on a regular basis, you will be experiencing tiredness after you eat because this is just a blood sugar thing. But, after you stop consuming sugar you will notice that you will no longer be tired after eating it, which means that you no longer have high blood sugar which basically makes the brain tired
