Your HbA1c may not be correct!
Report: HbA1c is the most important test for diabetes. It tests the average of blood sugar present in your blood cells over the snap of 3 month. It gives out results in percentages. For example, if your blood sugar is 150 then your HbA1c will be around 7%. The test looks into the sugar present in your hemoglobin which is a basic molecule present in your blood. Sometimes the results of this test can be false. This happens if you are anemic which means your body has stopped making red blood cells. If the condition is untreated, then it can result in high A1c and if treated, in between the 3 month average time, will result in low A1c. Thus, the A1c test may not be the best for you in this case. There are other alternative tests available for you. This is why, sometimes, you have a false HbA1c result.
