Urinary Tract Infection ( UTI) is a serious infection which needs to be timely diagnosed & treated in infants & young children, to avoid complications. There are certain structural & functional risk factors which make the child more susceptible for UTI. Any child with febrile illness without focus must be examined for probability of urine infection.
