Doza's Dogs

I am based in Belmont and choose to drive 30 minutes in rush-hour traffic every day to get to Doza's Dogs in East Palo Alto. I do this happily of course because Doza's Dogs has been hands down the best daycare/boarding place I have ever brought my golden retriever to. He first went to Doza's as a puppy at just months old and got some wonderful socialization and exercise with the other dogs at Doza's. Omar, the business owner, went out of his way to learn all of my dog's needs and personality traits to determine the best care and exercise for him. That is to say that Omar and his team go above and beyond to learn about every dog and place them into different exercise activities accordingly (whether that be long walks or just off-leash play on their fenced farm). My pup is currently 1.5 years old with lots of energy still, and he comes home more than happy and tired out each time. I also have to mention that Omar is the nicest human but also a solid professional who is very on top of business. Omar is frequently sending me updates of my pup playing with other dogs or quickly responding to any messages I send. I am so so confident in Omar and his team to treat my dog and all the other dogs under their care like literal kings and queens. I have been using Doza's for months now and will continue to do so because I am convinced there is no other service or team of humans that could treat my dog better. My dog is always in their off-leash group -- I've attached videos to show just how enriching and fun their off-leash play is for the pups!

We’ve been thrilled with Doza Dogs! Our Doberman has been going for daycare with Omar three days a week, and it’s been an absolutely wonderful experience. Omar and his team are incredibly caring, professional, and attentive—they’ve helped her blossom into the confident, happy dog she is today, and it’s clear they love every pup like their own. She always comes home tired from all the fun playtime and socialization. While we’re sad that last week marked the end of her regular daycare sessions due to our own changes, we’re so grateful for everything they’ve done and can’t wait to bring her back for boarding, which was completely stress-free for her thanks to her familiarity from doggy daycare. She’ll be over the moon to see Omar and the team again! If you’re looking for top-notch, loving care for your dog, Doza Dogs is the place to go—highly recommend!

The care, attention, and genuine love they show every dog is so clear. I felt 100% safe leaving my little friends with them, and they came back happy, calm, and well cared for. Great experience with Doza’s Dogs! Omar provided outstanding care and boarding for our Australian Shepherd. From the moment we dropped her off, we felt confident she was in great hands. The facility is clean, spacious, and thoughtfully run with plenty of outdoor time, structured routines, and attention to each dog’s personality. Our dog came home happy, and clearly well cared for. Omar kept us updated and clearly treats every dog like family. You can tell he truly understands and loves working with dogs, especially high-energy breeds like ours. My dog Luna has been with Doza Dogs for over 3 years, On daily basis and I have to say I am very grateful for them and their services! They are awesome at what they do, reliable and take great care of my baby girl. The Business owner Omar, is genuinely a good human being, Is passionate about what he does, and does a phenomenal job communicating, and keeping all the dogs safe and well. And I must add he always strives to help and better his community. Mauricio, And the other fellas, whose name I forgot, are also solid human being and take pride and their job and great care of all the dogs. All in all very honorable business, and I’m grateful for them. There’s been times that I have needed help outside of Doggy Daycare and Omar and his family never hesitated to give a helping hand out of the kindness of his hearts. Left my dog with Omar and his wonderful team for a 2 week vacation. He really made me feel worry free about my little ones. Great experience all around. Such a handsome young lad.

We love Doza’s Dogs! Omar has the most wonderful way with our dog. We have used them for daycare and boarding since July 2023. Our dog needed socialization and she was scared of the van. Omar and Mauricio were so patient and kind. Now she loves to go. They give the dogs a lot of exercise and they come home tired. I trust them and highly recommend.

I have used Doza's Dogs for daycare and boarding. My dogs love it. They get so excited when the van pulls up, they run to get in it! Omar takes great care of the dogs, feeding them their individual foods (using my special, slow-eating bowl for one of them), giving them their medications, and making sure they get plenty of exercise, as well as down-time and personal attention. My dogs have a great time playing with the other dogs, who are all friendly and well-socialized. Omar posts recordings of the dogs, and it is nice to see my dogs playing happily while I am away. He picks up and drops off the dogs too, which is a helpful service. I used to want someone to stay at my house with my dogs when my family traveled, but after finding Doza Dogs, I feel like I am giving my dogs a special vacation of their own.

Our dog, Homer, has been with Doza’s Dogs since 2019 and it was the best decision we could have made for Homer! Omar and his team are true professionals and care so much for all the dogs they care for. Omar always has the dogs in mind when he makes decisions about the business and has taken the time to learn from masters in the business. Homer is so excited every time he gets picked up for a day at Doza’s Dogs. Once, my husband was playing with Homer at a park in Menlo Park and Homer suddenly ran off towards the street (extremely strange behavior for Homer), and when my husband caught up with him, Homer was playing with Omar whose van he recognized at the park. It was the sweetest little reunion! We adore Omar and I have complete trust and faith in him with Homer and all the dogs in his care. We struck gold when we found Omar and are so thankful for all the love and care he’s given Homer. Omar is family and beloved by my whole family. You can’t go wrong with Doza’s Dogs!

If you are looking for someone to be your furbaby best friend look no further. We’ve been with Doza’s Dogs for about 3 years and I can’t say enough about Omar and his team. They are responsible, reliable, and affordable. My Luna (Labrador Dog) loves all of them. I only have positive things to say about the team and the owner Omar. They are always on time and are very respectful. Besides we love that Doza’s Dogs is a local family own business.
