Whom ever answers their phone is absolutely RUDE. As a Mn native and a business owner myself, I realize I am the face of my company and anyone who answers my company phone should keep that in mind.
I have been sick for weeks, I lost my voice. I called today to possibly get service even though I have a snow blower, I do not need to be outside making my condition even worse.
I simply called this company based on a referral from my neighbor.
When I called I asked if they had any availability and was treated as if I said something wrong. That’s all I asked and was met with a harsh attitude, the women on the phone said immediately EXCUSE MEEEE? As if I insulted her by asking a question. Because of the attitude I immediately thought to myself, ya this most likely is not the company I would ever do business with. First impressions are everything and we cannot take those interactions back. It’s the fact that I felt like she wanted me to some how magically” get my voice back to appease her. I asked her if she has ever lost her voice and again in a very rude tone she says NO I HAVE NOOOOOTTTTT! What world is she living in & what is wrong with her???Loosing your voice is common when being sick, or they would not have a term for it. It’s called loosing your voice, feel free to google the medical term if you need an in depth explanation on what and how that works good grief! People loose their voices and it’s completely normal. I would never recommend this company and yes I am a business owner myself with over 200k followers. I have that following for a reason! I am very transparent, I call it like I see it and I am respectful, professional and speak to everyone with kindness and understanding! Do better! This review serves as my experience of this company and at this point that women is the face of your company and your brand. If she needs to pep talk to herself before she answers calls, than that’s what she should do; when you smile over the phone the consumer can sense it. It’s takes more energy to be nasty to someone than to just Be kind, especially to people you do not know. Those people calling are only calling for a business purpose, Anything less than professionalism is & should be unacceptable. My thought is maybe she is a spouse, partial owner, relative or actually hates her job cause how else would anyone be able to have that kind of attitude while answering a companies phone & still be able to answer business calls other than having some type” of entitlement either way, I am almost positive that having an attitude while answering the phone should be avoided. IMHO her ATTITUDE may be acceptable to the company owner, but to the consumer who is willing to generate revenue …NOT SO MUCH! Snow removal companies are a novelty; meaning you can pretty much find that service on any corner within every city in Minnesota land of the SNOW. Have the willingness to set your company apart from others and that starts with answering the phone with ettiequte & professionalism. In this state as you know word travels.
