Dosas by Kashan is such a hidden gem in Clifton! The food is absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor. Everything tastes fresh, perfectly seasoned, and made with so much care. The dosas are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and paired with the most flavorful chutneys and sambar. Every bite feels comforting and satisfying. The presentation is beautiful, and the staff is warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. If you’re craving authentic South Indian flavors in Clifton, this spot is definitely a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back again! 😊

Been coming here really often whenever I have a dosa craving. The rava dosa, uttapam, mysore masala were great. The chutneys and sambhar were also really great too. Aside from the South Indian dishes, their samosa chaat and paneer frankie with masala fries were really amazing too The staff are incredible and extremely friendly making this place very welcoming, they will definitely start to recognize me because I plan to come here often I recommend this place to everyone who loves Indian food and wants to try something different than the North Indian dishes that many people are familiar with

Small places with all the good Indian snacks and variety of Dosas. We ordered vadapav, dhabeli, dosa combo, ghee roast dosa with masala chai. All the items were good but chai could have been better. Good hosts though, very polite and welcoming, would visit again if in the area.

I am giving 5 star of the food I tasted . We got Podi dosa which great. Mysore masala dosa was good too , I loved the masala stuffing for the dosa as well. Idli was soft and vada was was crispy. Both the coconut and tomato chilli chutney tasted great . The sambar is not very thick but a little thin and soupy in consistency and tested very good. I recommend this place for dosa and idli vadas. I will keep posting when I taste any other dishes from this place . I am definitely coming back again. Negative- One disappointing I have is use of plastic spoon . I would suggest the owner to get the wooden spoon ( the cheaper version of course) which can be used and trashed . I would not like to dip the plastic spoon in hot sambar as a health conscious person. Alternatively , I just sipped the sambar from the cup and used the spoon only for the chutneys.

Delicious food. My personal favourites are their amul cheese pav bhaji, medhu vada and maharaja dosa. 100% would recommend this place.

In India there is a saying Atithi Devo Bhava, meaning "The guest is God," - this clean and delicious dosa spot will make you believe that is true

We stopped by Dosas by Kashan for weekend dinner. We ordered couple dishes like Idly Manchurian, Amul Cheese Pav Bhaji and Mysore Masala Dosa. Although the service was pretty quick, the tastes of all the dishes we ate were subpar. The Pav Bhaji was supposed to have Amul Cheese, but cheese I got was probably not Amul’s and the Bhaji was salty.

Good: Vegan friendly, Indian food, unlimited sambhar! Not so good: maybe we went on an off day going by the other reviews however I didnt have the same experience sadly. I was quite excited to try the place and ordered some idlis. It arrived in a styrofoam plate with plastic spoons. The tomato chutney was made with canned tomatoes and had the can like taste still, was underseasoned, the idli batter was over fermented and a bit dry around the edges. The sambhar was watery and ok. Vada tasted like.. not a vada. Water has to be bought, no glasses of tap water are available. For almost $12 a plate I atleast would like quality food even if it’s on styrofoam like we’re in McDonalds. I really hope the place steps up because I’d love to continue to support a vegan friendly local Indian restaurant! Neutral but noteworthy: The place is fully self service, order at counter and pick up. Sambhar is in a pot next to napkins and such - you gotta self serve.

recently visited Kashan Dosa Restaurant and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience. The pav bhaji was extremely salty, making it hard to enjoy. I ordered two different dosas, but the coconut chutney was very watery, and the red chutney tasted like watered-down ketchup. The medu vada and potato masala were both very dry, lacking the freshness and flavor you’d expect. It’s a self-serve setup, with the sambar kept in a pot, which didn’t add much to the overall experience. Based on my visit, I would not recommend this place.
