I am truly grateful for Door to Door Pet Delivery and the excellent service they provided. They helped transport my cat safely from Dallas, TX to California while I was traveling overseas. Despite the time difference, they always kept me updated and even provided GPS tracking for peace of mind. I would highly recommend their reliable services to anyone in need of pet transportation.

We are incredibly thankful for the service provided by Door to Door Pet Delivery. They kept us informed throughout the journey as they transported our dog from Dulles to St. Louis. Traveling from overseas can be stressful, and having their support made a significant difference. They have great reviews for a reason! I wouldn't hesitate to give them a call if I ever needed their services again in the future.

This review is based on our personal experience and opinion. We hired Door to Door Pet Delivery LLC and paid a premium to transport our rescue dog from Dallas to Buffalo based on private transport (solo dog) with alternating drivers, straight through travel and GPS tracking. Those expectations were not met. Firstly, This transport was not private, as the drivers’ personal dogs were also on board. While we did not have an issue with this, it was not disclosed at the time of booking. For the first 24 hours, despite repeatedly requesting it, GPS tracking was not provided and we were given excuse after excuse as to why they couldn’t. During that time, we had no way to know where our dog was, other than what they told us verbally. About 15 hours after they picked up our dog, the drivers finally disclosed that they were in Oklahoma. After we again asked for their GPS location, they then confessed they they “took a wrong turn” and that they were actually in Colorado. Meaning, our dog had traveled in the opposite direction, and was hours FARTHER from where they started. A few hours before we picked her up, we realized that photos taken with iPhone include both location data and time stamps. That information directly contradicted the locations we were told they were in. This was not a weather-related delay but a culmination of untruths. Our dog did experience diarrhea during transport and the drivers made several stops to manage it, however, this does not explain the vehicle traveling in the wrong direction immediately after pickup. As a result, our dog who came from a traumatic background, was in transit for over 48 hours. This transport was to have taken approximately 24 hours, with obvious allowances for weather or unforeseen situations to arise. We eventually did pick up our dog in Detroit because it made the “transport” trip shorter, and our trip longer, but we just wanted her in our possession. The drivers we kind, however while our dog did arrive safely, the overall experience was extremely distressing. When we raised these concerns to the owner Rachel, we were disappointed by the lack of accountability. She offered a $300 reduction, but when we asked for further consideration, given everything that happened, the reduction was withdrawn and she threatened us with legal action by text and email. We paid in full to bring the matter to a close. Did our dog make it from point A to point B? Yes. But the experience was arduous. We will not use this company again.

Life happens and it challenged us lady week with the need to transport an ElderlyNewfoundland to her new home with the unexpected death of her owner. Checking references and reviews for shippers, and trying to coordinate transportation was made more of a challenge because the dog was on the northern coast of California and the new home was on the Gulf coast of Florida. Add to that we while we had a wonderful neighbor helping we also knew she had to go to work with a lot of other items on her agenda. This made us extra grateful when I came across Door to Door and they immediately stepped up to say they had a drop off occurring in Nevada that would facilitate a pick up in northern California. This worked with our caregiver in that area and next thing we knew Annie was on her way. Our driver was Richard, and he took wonderful care of this senior dog. The dog had been in mourning but Richard was able to establish a relationship of trust and she arrived a happy camper. Annie traveled as a solo passenger. Richard communicated throughout the trip. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I would like to take a minute to thank Door to Door Pet Delivery, especially Dawn! I shipped my dog from a small rural town in Alaska (not accessible by car) to Pennsylvania. The care, communication, and diligence was top tier service. If you are looking to ship your dog or have your puppy delivered Door to Door Pet Delivery is the way to go!

Dawn took great care of our dog while transporting him from Austin to New York! We were not sure how he would do on such a long journey but getting updates and being able to track where they were at all times eased our hearts! We couldn’t thank Dawn and Rachel enough!

Great service! Loved how they provided updates and sent photos while they were transporting my puppy. They took great care of him and I was able to see the GPS for arrival time. I highly recommend them! Reasonably priced too.

Do not use this service ! I just had the worst experience with a unexperienced carrier who knew nothing about cats when she picked up the cat and asked if she could use potting soil as litter. I almost fell off my chair. Long story short it took her 14 hours to transport a 6 hour drive because she stopped to get an oil change on her way with her BABY and spouse. The most upsetting unprofessional transport I’ve experienced in my 40 years as a breeder.
