It’s official! We are open at 11 at the E. 38th Street store.
I want to say thank you to all of my amazing staff and especially Ryan and Kevin who transferred from the Greengarden location to run the new store. In total I was able to promote five employees who, combined, have been with me for over 15 years. In addition, we’ve hired over 25 new employees between both locations. Some of our new employees have years of restaurant experience while others are starting their very first jobs. Please be patient with us for a few weeks as we improve, and if you have a bad experience please let us know. I promise we will make it right.
Finally, I know Oliver's Rooftop is opening today and Vintage & Soul Home just opened on Saturday. Chippers Seafood & Southern Fusion opened recently as did Floral Expressions by Darlene. Hats off to all of you and to all of the new businesses in 2020. I know what an almost Sisyphean task is it to open a new business right now. Know that we are rooting for you. We are rooting for EVERYONE that takes a risk and tries to makes Erie a stronger community.
