Preparing for Your Pup’s First Meet & Greet
Your dog’s first visit to Dogtopia of South Bay begins with a Meet & Greet – an important step to ensure they’re set up for success in our off leash and open-play environment. This introduction allows our team to learn about your pup’s personality, play style, and comfort level while helping them feel at ease in their new surroundings.
To prepare, make sure your dog is up‑to‑date on required vaccinations and arrives on a leash with their favorite collar or harness. A well‑rested dog will have the best experience, so try to keep the morning calm and positive. During the session, our Canine Coaches will assess your dog’s comfort with new friends, introduce them to our specialized playrooms, and explain how our daycare routine supports safe socialization, exercise, and learning.
This first step is the foundation of their future visits and provides peace of mind knowing your dog is playing with other dogs who went through the same process. Start their journey to the Most Exciting Day Ever, filled with new BFFFs (Best Furry Friends Forever) and happy, confident play.
