I’ve gone through 3 different dog trainers over the years, and DNA K9 is the only trainer I will use. I started with them, after inheriting an aged, cattle dog from a dying family member. AFTER I agreed to take her, I found out she was a biter. She bit at least 5 people in the first few days I had her. With the help of Doug, Addie and I got past those issues and, amazingly (to me, not Doug), I had control of her. Now Addie is gone and I’ve rescued an adorable puppy from Amish country. Totally different dog, totally different issues…and again I’m learning I’m the boss, not the adorable Finch.
Doug is available for any questions, and responds quickly.
I also like that there is a demo by Doug, where the Doug gets the idea of what to do…then the leash is mine. Doug provides tips at that time, then I get to practice for a week before the next class.
