I honestly had very modest expectations for what I thought would be a fairly generic midtown restaurant. Instead, I may have had my most enjoyable meal ever. Maybe my expectations played into it, but everything was perfect, from the soup to the desserts. The sweet potato leek soup was unique and delicious, the gnocchi with shrimp and sundried tomatoes was lighter and less filling than the item would suggest, and the sea bass with little neck clams was perfectly balanced. By the end, I didn't NEED the creme brulee, but I'm glad I did. The cost was very reasonable, as well, and not just for NYC. I will be returning!
