Amazing place to dance! Great instructors that are knowledgable in multiple types of Latin dance including bachata, kizomba, and both salsa on 1 and on 2. The studio is beautiful and the students are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend for both new students and those with experience. Best in Sarasota and surrounding area hands down!

I recently attended a dance class at DK Dance Creations, and it was an incredible experience! In just one hour, l burned around 400 calories while having a blast. The atmosphere was filled with positive, contagious energy that made everyone feel welcome and encouraged. The instructors were fantastic--keeping the fun alive by breaking down each step and ensuring that everyone felt included. They truly took the time to coach us, helping each participant evolve in their dance journey. It was clear that they prioritize their students, making us feel like we were their top priority. If you're looking for a place to dance, have fun, and enjoy a supportive community, DK Dance Creations is the way to go!

Kerry and Dario are both really gifted instructors for Latin dance! I have taken lessons in other studios before and they really are excellent at teaching the foundation as well as advanced and making sure that everyone really gets it. The studio is spacious and they make it fun. You will really feel the difference in ability with their way of teaching the moves and explaining the details. One of the best studios in the area, if you really want to learn and feel comfortable dancing. Their group packages are great and they organize fun socials!!

DK Dance is hands down the best place for Latin dancing in Sarasota! Their salsa and bachata classes are top-notch, with experienced instructors who truly care about their students. I especially love that they focus on traditional bachata over sensual. It’s harder to find in this area because most people teach the latter. They also host regular socials, which are perfect for practicing, meeting people, and becoming a more confident dancer. If you’re interested in performing, they even have a dance team! Whether you're new or experienced, this is one of the best things to do in Sarasota. Amazing community, great vibes, and incredible teachers!

My wife and I were incredibly glad to have stumbled upon @DK Dance Creations—it’s truly a hidden gem! We’re not absolute beginners, but after a long break from Salsa classes, we were looking for a place that could help us ease back into the groove, and this studio exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with such warmth and positivity that it felt like we had found our dance home. The vibe is energetic and inviting, and the Salsa instructors are absolutely amazing—skilled, passionate, and fantastic at tailoring their guidance to different levels. We couldn’t be more impressed and are so grateful to be dancing again in such a vibrant and supportive environment!

Just took a private lesson and it was, by far, the best lesson of any studio I’ve been to including in NYC. Dario is so patient and such a great teacher. 10/10 recommend for private lessons.

Been learning to dance with DK Dance Creations for over a year. Great instructors who got thru to this stubborn guy. 2 thoughts I am reminded of every time I dance. 1st from one of the owners; "We are creating and building a dance community here in Sarasota" - they are! Come be part of it! The second came from a brand new beginning couple. "We are learning a fun, new skill that we will enjoy for the rest of our lives". You can, too!!!

This is by far the best school in Sarasota. They offer subsequent classes in a week that progress so you can continue your learning by attending a few classes a week. They have performance teams that even a very beginner can join. Everyone is extremely friendly and when you come to class at DK you become part of the family.

I didn't know what to expect from my first ever dance lessons, but this has been a great experience in terms of having fun while learning something totally new in a comfortable setting. Great instructors, and everyone is friendly. I only wish I'd done this sooner. If you're thinking about it, do it. Life is short.

This is a wonderful place with wonderful instructors. I recommend it if you want a fun, entertaining and loving place, this is it. All the instructors take the time to teach you the right way to dance. You will definitely come out knowing your way on the dance floor.
