I lost my kitten named Taro and my sister found Paws Fur the Cause through google. It was a very sad situation and texting was an option that was great because neither me nor my sister were able to talk on the phone, at least not right away. I got on invoice sent to me and I was able to use Apple Pay because Taro was picked up only a few hours after my sister had contacted them. Stephen came and picked up Taro and was so compassionate. To my surprise when I got Taro today, I realized I got extra products like his fur and whiskers. I also got clay paw print. This was extremely nice and unexpected. While I don't wish pet loss for anyone, I know in most cases it's inevitable and Stephen and Paws Fur the Cause offers amazing support and services during a difficult time such as that. Thank you Stephen to you and your sister and anyone else involved. You made a huge difference and I won't forget it. Aboye and beyond. Additionally, I think it's amazing they give back from this on several ways. Again, thank you for everything. Sharing some pics of Taro. RIP❤️

Stephen was so kind and thoughtful with my beautiful Ziggy Zag. The loss of my therapy dog, my soulmate of 13 years has been the hardest thing and Paws Fur The Cause is the only place I could have imagined helping me in this moment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring for my baby and being so kind to me. It brings me comfort knowing such wonderful people cared for her. Allowing me to stay home when both having her picked up and then receiving her ashes made it so much easier on my heart. Within an hour of calling as well. I would only recommend you to my fellow animal parents dealing with their loss. No one else would have compared.

I had planned on doing this review weeks ago, but I have been missing my dog so much I haven’t been doing much of anything, but today is the day! Paws Fur The Cause is Amazing, and Stephen is the heart of the business. I reached out to Paws For The Cause the morning my TJ died and it was Stephen who picked up my call. I was a wreck and he was so kind and full of compassion. I felt better just hearing his voice. He came to my house pretty quickly after being on another call to get TJ. Stephen took his time as he explained options and walked me through the process with such care I felt as if he were a friend or family member. He also listened to me talk about TJ through tears and sobs. Stephen called me much sooner than I was anticipating to say TJ was ready to come home. They went above and beyond and I will only use them in the future. They are above the 5 star rating. Thank you to Stephen and everyone at Paws Fur The Cause for taking care of TJ at the end of his time here.

Steven got back to my family and I the night of our dog Daisy passing away so quick. It was the night before Thanksgiving so with his fast response it was much appreciated. Thank you Steven for your service and generosity for taking in Daisy in such a short notice. He does a clay model and paw prints as his service and also the box is where Daisy ashes are.

We recently lost our beloved Ricky, who is not your typical dog and truly was a little angel sent to us. Well, after my wife and I were browsing TLCs space (Tiny Loving Canines) in a local mall, Ricky was the one who picked us, as he wouldn't stop barking at me after I had come to his space in the kennel with about 10 other rescue dogs. I came back to pet him some more, then continued to walk around to check out the other rescues. He continued to bark at me when I walked away. At that point my wife and I knew that Ricky was the one. She also picked Annie (again, Annie picked her), and Annie could have passed for Ricky's sister. We had recently put down 2 of our 3 Dalmatians due to complications from old age, so we knew we had to help save some of these little guys. Best decision ever, Ricky brought so much happiness, joy and love to everyone he touched. So much so that Ricky was like a little rock star with my mother, her friends and our friends. So many times he was the topic of conversation because of his unique personality and his desire to make so many people happy. That was 2012, now over 13 years later we suddenly lost him in his sleep. He had been a bit sick and vet visits/blood tests the last couple weeks. He passed peacefully next to my wife in the middle of the night. I was shocked and wasn't really sure what we were going to do with him. I searched "pet cremation" and Paws Fur the Cause was one of the results. After seeing a few of the reviews, I gave them a call. Stepen answered the phone at 6:30 or so in the morning and confirmed that he serviced our area. Stephen showed up around 4 hours later to take my Ricky. What a compassionate, kind and sensitive person. Perfect person in your time of grief; and I knew that my buddy would be taken with care. Stephen made a hard situation easier and stayed with us for a while before taking Ricky. He also let us know that he donates $20 to charity with each cremation. When we got Ricky's ashes back, a nice touch was the bit of hair included as a keepsake. The bamboo and paw prints were a nice addition, and I recently ordered another bamboo print for my mother as she liked it so much. I am still working on Ricky's little "shrine" and a small box for his ashes. I love the fact that he is still with us and not buried somewhere. Thank you again Stephen, I'm glad there are kind people like you to help others in their time of grief.

I lost my 5 year old pup Canelo a few days ago (worst paint ever) and since i’ve never been through something like that before, I panicked and rapidly searched up pet cremation services. That's when Paws Fur the Cause popped up. I was a bit hesitant as they only had ten reviews at the time, but was then reassured when I saw they were all five stars. I decided to give them a call because it was around 1 am when it happened and I saw that they were open 24 hours and would come pick my dog up, instead of me taking him. Stephen was the one who spoke to me on the phone, and he was speaking in a very gentle, comforting tone. He was patient when I had long pauses, and he double checked all the information with me. Because I was crying, it made it difficult for him to hear me clearly, so when I asked him to make corrections, he corrected them without making me feel bad or rushed. I was like an hour away from LA, yet he arrived gracefully and treated Canelo with respect and grace, and even double checked if we were okay watching the process of taking him away. At last, he gave us his condolences and apologized for our loss, and then took our beautiful soul dog away. (Stephen came by a few days later and dropped off his ashes, it was a quick process, and I'm glad to have my baby back home.) Thank you, Paws Fur the Cause.

I lost my mini Chihuahua on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 3:41 a.m. My world crumbled. My heart was in pieces, and I felt like I couldn’t breathe. Within the next couple of hours, I couldn’t bear to get out of bed—but I had to, because I needed to take him to be cremated. I brought him to the pound near my home, and when they told me it would be a mass cremation, I didn’t fully comprehend what that meant at the time. Later, after I returned home, a good friend reached out to me and told me about Paws Fur The Cause. She did the research and found that they would treat him with the utmost respect and handle him with genuine care. She took care of everything for me during a time when I truly couldn’t function. I spoke with Stephen, the owner, and he reassured me that Taz was in good hands. He spoke with such kindness and understanding—it felt like he truly knew exactly what I was going through. He eased my mind about having my baby returned to me within a reasonable timeframe and also offered a paw print with different options. Everything was very reasonable and thoughtful. I truly love that he created a business rooted in compassion and care. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Paws Fur The Cause, and I am forever grateful for how they treated my precious Taz.

Saying goodbye to our fur baby was hard. Thank you for being calming through this tough time. Wonderful and calming experience, if I can give them 10 stars I would! Great service through a difficult time.

My little guy Easton ( chihuahua) of 16 years passed away in my arms at midnight Dec 5th. I was devastated and disoriented trying to process what had just happened. I met up with a buddy ( uncle to Easton) had me come over his place at 1am to help me figure out what to do. We called 12 services. Stephen from Paws Cause called me back after speaking with him to check up on me. I knew at the point they were the service for us. He showed up to my location at 4am. Allowed ample time to say goodbye to our boy, no rushing. Stephen and Paws Cause made our experience personal which eased my sadness. He returned my boy with care, love, and a hug for me and my girlfriend. He still checks in a couple weeks later. This was honestly the best decision I could have made. We appreciate you guys so much! Thank you Stephen!

Stephen was the person that answered the phone when I call to inquire about picking up my sweet boy Truman that passed on new years day. Stephen was so kind and caring with my grief. He answered my questions and was at my home in an hour. His concern for my feelings and gentle care with Truman was wonderful. He even let me share pictures of Truman with him and talk about what Truman meant to me. I am so grateful for this service. I would highly recommend it. It helped take the burden of me getting my 68 lb pup in the car and taking him somewhere. Huge relief. Also Stephen called last night and drop off Truman ashes. God bless Paws 4 a Cause 💖
