April is Oral Cancer Awareness Month. Sadly, approximately 54,000 oral cavity and oropharyngeal cancer cases in the United States were reported in 2022. It is estimated that 10.5 adults per 100,000 will develop oral cancer. Oral cancer rates increase with age and males are more susceptible than women.🦷
